That would be the closest example, but that obviously happened at a very odd transition time with Jordan leaving such. The point is still valid tho, that shit is very, very rare. Same goes for in the 80's quite frankly too.

James did put the clamps on him……I think Rose got tired though, but given his size the fact that James is laterally quick enough to stay with Rose was really impressive. If he turns around a shuts down Dirk I"d be amazed, because Dirk is a tough, tough matchup.

LeBron will have to step up and insist they run the small lineup more if hes going to guard Dirk, and they likely will because Dallas goes small sometimes themselves. Otherwise Bosh is going to be the one mostly getting abused by the German.

Can Dallas guard Miami on the perimeter? Even if they have Dirk on LeBron at points, that still leaves Wade to run around and Bosh to try his damnedest to abuse Big Tyson.

There's no doubt that LBJ winning one with this team will not have the same luster as Jordan winning his first.

At the same time, everyone wanted to see the Heat fail and if they do end up winning, more credit to them. But still, he will have to win at least 2 or 3 more before people get off his dick. :)

gonna be a very closer series IMO.

dallas with kidd, marion, and chandler matches up well with the heat. Not only that but Dallas has Terry who score just as good as anyone when he gets hot.

very close, i just want to see Dallas win but i wont be surprised at all if MIA wins.
