EDIT: Anyone know if it is available for PS3 yet or is it just the 360 right now?

Don't they "dial" it up for the demo. It would be a boring demo if it was 3-0 or 7-6 all the time for the mass audience.

DL the 360 but if I do get it, it will be for PS3 (but that DL always takes forever for me).

Can't snap the ball while a WR is in motion. Don't know if this was same as last year.

BTW, not that I really care but I didn't know Sam Bradford sports a blonde crewcut. Not only that but his face looks nothing like him.

how many minute quarters is this demo?

2 minute quarters. Just finished my first game. Played as florida, and lost 7-14. My only score was on a play action pass to WR #11 who broke free on a 65 yard run. i had the ball on the 3 yard line with a minute left, and Tebow fumbled on a QB sneak, giving oklahoma the ball. although we forced them to a three and out, i ran out of time. Oh well, i had fun. Off to play my 2nd game

Yeah play the demo for yourself and see what you think. I liked the feel of the game but I definitely got bored playing the computer so if you are a big offline dynasty player then you may not like it.

I hate how the CPU QB never ever takes a sack or misfires on a pass. He always will throw it to his WR and if its not broken up by a DB or picked off the WR is going to catch unless he is hit. Very hard to sack the AI QB, he finds his target 99% of the time and always seemed to get the pass off just before getting sacked.

Just started downloading im at 6%. I have a couple questions. Does this demo seem different from last years game or demo? and can you play this demo as multiplayer? or is it just 1 player?

Yeah I think it's going to be fun online. Points will be scored but its a college football game, I want it to be different from Madden and it is.

I will buy it on release day and if I don't like it I'll trade it in for Madden once that drops. If I do like it then I'll keep it. Not a big deal either way, i'm a huge football game and college football fan, need my fix.

you can play multiplayer. rhombic over at NCAAstrategies told me had a controller on defense and on offense so he could manually move players on both sides of the ball around and mess with the AI and what not. so yeah two players can play.

I've had a few plays where Tebow misfired on some deep balls. It is hard as hell to sack him though.

thats right, saw a few of those overthrown. other than that, didn't see many inaccurate passes.

The game does a good job of covering the curl this year, so far at least.

I'm thinking I will get enough play out of dynasty mode with the team builder function for this to be a must buy. Any minor issues can always have house rules to work around it.

I enjoyed the time i spent with the demo. A lot of things kind of have an authentic feel.

I think it's going to eventually feel like I'm playing 09 again, however, player-lock idea seems to be one I can get used to.

I haven't bought a football game since 2007, so I enjoyed the demo. Random thoughts ahead:

*The generic cheerleader animations need to go, they suck.
*Manual pass rushing is really hard, I played as a D-lineman for two entire games and never got a sack, although I got pressure and knocked over the QB a few times.
*The running/tackling animations were nice, seemed to be a lot more variety.
*Just like ever other EA football game, there are way to many dropped interceptions. How hard can it be to have the DB swat a ball down once in a while.

Played 3 games.

Pass rush is still broken. Blitzing seems a little better now, but just rushing your front 4 will get you no pressure.

Defensive player lock is fucking nasty. Can't get enough of this.

Coverage is improved quite a bit.

Probably not going to buy though. Game speed is stil insanely fast. Pass rush wasn't fixed, so the crossing patterns will be money. Players are still way to twitchy. I might rent it, but this is just going to be NCAA 9.5.
