screen passes are tough too, I've gotten a few to work but most of the time the RB goes further out than the blockers and gets drilled for a loss.

I take it you're playing offline. Also, what if I like to control a LB or safety and not a DL cuz I don't like doing rush moves all game? CPU doesn't generate a rush on their own?

I don't play online.

I've gotten pressure from my DL while controlling a LB or a S. I was just speaking if you are actually controlling the DL.

When the pass rush is too much the only way I could control it last year was playing Double TE sets and having them stay in to block. HBs were useless for the most part.

im gonna have to try that at times. Thing is that i hate the 1 back sets so i am switching between WV and Wake PB cause they only have 1 single back set. They do have a bunch of SG Ace & 1 back sets though. I have some good blocking TE too. maybe i should formation sub them into the backfield so i can have them block instead of the FB and HB.


regarding getting pass rush. Like i said, i can generate a ton of pressure with OSU DL. they are sick and deep. I even use a formation set where Heyward moves to DT and i bring in the 3rd string RE (i forget his name but he is a freshman with great pass rush abilities). This formation was pretty much unstoppable, but the QB just throws it before i get to him. It ends up an in-completion, miss fire or INT. A sack would be nice when i work that hard and get nothing, but the CPU just gets a free pass to the QB. What am i warren beatty trying out for the rams?

One thing that has caught my eye lately is how every once in a while when the linemen are doing a double team the defensive player will fall and drag both linemen down with him. It's a little detail that is great that they finally added. Reminds me back when in hs when my coach told us to "grab grass" when we got double teamed.

i played marshall again....i got 7 sacks (1 user). they had 0 sacks. Then i played Miami and had 5 sacks (2 user) and they had 2 sacks.

using Matts sliders, i changed the user pass blocking from 40 to 45. with that small change it didnt feel like i was under pressure ever. The 2 sacks Mia got were on busted roll outs.

other than that i didnt make any changes. but there are some things that i need to change. I get such drastically different results each game that its tough trying to adjust things.

btw, did anyone notice last night when they fired up there game, during the process where its getting to the main menu you see it flash stuff at the bottom like connecting to EA Server, Loading Environment.......after that it said Optimizing Game Online or some shit. I almost always watch those load screens and never saw that one before.

I am just wondering if EA is tuning the game on the server side rather than patches. i remember hearing some dev talk about that a couple years ago.

every game i see a ton of Linemen miss blocks. I didnt see that at all last night in the 2 i played. Did that 1 slider from 40-45 make my linemen all of a sudden remember to block DE instead of letting them run right by, or is EA fixing shit on there end?

I just seen that they don't make you play the computer after your opponent quits to get a win. That's a very good add, I know a lot of people hated that in the past years games...

You don't get a win anymore if someone quits on you.

Well he quit on me and I got two options...

1.) - Quit and count game. (In the message it said I'll receive the win and he'll receive the loss.)
2.) - Quite and don't count game. (In the messgae it said nothing is gonna be recorded.)

I selected option number one and I got a win.

There's been a lot of threads on OS about when you count the game only the other person gets a loss and you don't get the win. So I guess you got a lucky game then or EA servers are wack.

I've got to say, this is the most fun I've had against the CPU in a long time in NCAA.

The last version I had was 09, which played like shit but the introduction of OD was enough to offset it. Didn't play 10 past the demo, but this game is lightyears beyond Madden 10, which I felt was much better than NCAA 09.

This Right Guard in my RTG is the second string TE. Beating up on secondaries. So lame.

sliders will change this guys. DB's will still be able to jump routes or whatever, but u can still lower pass coverage to make a difference

if u do try mine and still have trouble with the rush, i suggest +/-5 changes at a time. it really can make a big difference.

those AA slider i only posted i didnt actually give them a try...well i did for a half but i wasnt into it.
