Long post.

Ok...so I thought about it for a while, and decided that the Duke extension offer of only 1 year was a bit of a slap to the dick. I gave that defense FOUR All Americans, and a safety that won 3 awards last year.

Took my ass to the Coaching Carousel. Got offers from Georgia and Ole Miss to be their DC, and from Middle Tenn State, Army, Arizona State, Pitt, FAU, NC State, Maryland, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana Lafayette, and some other schools to be the Head Coach.
Army, ASU, and Middle Tenn State were ones that I looked at for a long time. Was almost ready to accept the MTS job, then looked at the Goals again and they had some ridiculous shit on there that would be damn near impossible to accomplish. Ended up choosing the ULL Ragin Cajuns.

During the Offseason Recruiting, I managed to bring in the one player they had on their board, a 3 Star punter..and that was it. He came in at 83 (yes, EIGHTY THREE) overall. :fuckyeah:. I look at the schedule, and the first game(week 3) is against #3 OU (anyone who knows me knows that I hate the University of Oklahoma more than almost anything in the world, except for the University of North Carolina)...so that's almost a guarenteed loss. We also play 9 straight games..that's gonna suck. So I scheduled FCS West for a week 1 matchup so I can guarantee the fans at least 1 victory this year.

Also, the team has two FS's that are 97 and 94 overall. One is a Star Player and the other is an All-American. I dont know how to work that into my defense haha. And the team had recruited and landed a 3-star RB last year, so he is a Freshmen...and he is a fucking BEAST! I don't know how a freshman can have attributes like this..Darren Slayer is his name. 5'11 and 241 pounds. 82 strength, 82 Break Tackle, 90 Trucking, 80 Stiff Arm, 81 Jumping, and 83 TACKLE. Uhm..HE'S THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH! I'm so excited to use him...CAN'T WAIT *Bart Scott voice*.

His last name is SLAYER for fucks sake.

So I was playing #22 Arkansas and somehow my defense jumped out to and raped Arkansas allowing me to jump out to a 14-3 lead. Todd Cannon played FANTASTIC. He went 20-30, 326 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT. The only reason for that INT was a receiver tipped it on a bomb and it landed in their safetys hands.

My freshman RB was getting shut down until he rolled out a 75 yard TD run. After that there was holes everywhere for him to go. They made late comebacks in the 4th, but we still ended up with the upset 28-26.

Finished up the regular season 7-5 after a 32-20 victory over #25 FIU. my starting running back returned for the first time since Week 2 and rushed for over 100 yards and 2 scores.

My QB, Teddy Bridgewater, finished 4th in the Heisman voting after having an excellent season. Arkansas QB Brandon Mitchell came home with the award after leading Arky to an SEC Championship and a incredible statistical season: 3020 Passing Yards, 1130 Rushing Yards, 39 Total TDs.

We're headed to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl to play the 7-5 Stanford Cardinal.

We beat Stanford 38-35 in our bowl game!

TB had one of his best games of the season despite being sacked a ridiculous 9 times. He was 30/49 for 457 Yards, 3 TD, and 1 Int. He also ran for 68 yards on 26 carries (including the 9 sacks) for 2 more scores.

And I was offered a HC jobs at Air Force, Boise, BYU, North Carolina, TAMU, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, but I declined them all. I don't want to be at any of those schools lol.

But I do want to leave Louisville, and I decided to take the OC job at UGA with 99 Overall Isaiah Crowell and 95 Overall Malcolm Mitchell.

Alabama finished 7-4 and ranked #23.

They gave themselves a National Title.

#4 Auburn hosted a 1 star, 67ovr, Arkansas State and lost. Don't remember when I seen an upset that big. It moved Auburn down to #23 in the polls.

Cannon is a fucking GOD among men. WOW.

Greatest game I have every played in CC.

My defense played like shit until the 4th quarter. We were down 19 points going into the 4th quarter. And here comes Cannon in the fucking clutch. He put the balls RIGHT where they needed to be for us to tie game. We did and we managed to get the ball back and with 15 seconds left a receiver gets open he hits him in stride! Receiver was tackled at the one with no time outs left so I no huddled up there. 5....4....3....2.... HIKE! I rolled out right because there was lke 3 Pitt defenders in my face and a receiver managed to get ahead of the DB and I threw that bitch as far away from them as I could.....TD! TD! Buffalo beats Pitt 49-42!! Moves to 4-0!

Cannon set records for passing TD's and passing yards. With over 450 yds and 6-7 TDs with only 1 INT! If that was Licata he would have thrown 4 INT.

My RB ran for 105 yds and played very well against a stout Pitt defense.

As for the OU game...

we traveled to Norman to take on the #5 Sooners. They jumped out to a 21-0 lead. With 4 seconds left before halftime, I try a screen pass to my 3rd down back, and he takes it 84 yards for a touchdown. Made me feel a little decent haha. No one would score in the Third Quarter.

A minute and half into the Fourth, and I throw a 4 yard TD pass to my TE, ON A FOURTH AND GOAL. At least the score won't look TOO bad.
I make a stop after 6 plays, and get the ball back. Score is still 21-14. Third down, I get sacked and umble the ball. OU recovers and scores from 6 yards out on the next play to make it 28-14 with 1:05 left. Game over.

BUT WAIT! I try a Four Verts just for the fuck of it, and am able to connect with my WR as he is tip-toeing on the sideline..he takes it 75 yards for a touchdown. 28-21 OU. But you know how it is..you can never recover an onside kick because those ae fucking ridiculous. I try, and they get it easily. They are at their own 38 yard line with 50 seconds left. I've got all 3 timeouts, so if I am able to stop them, I may have a shot. First down, stuff them. Timeout. Second down, they gain 7 yards. Fuck. Timeout.

WHAT?!?! Yup. I was #59 the whole play, as you can tell by the awesome 17 yard backpedal and general janky movement.

I give the ball to Slayer to line up the kick..

and my Senior kicker hits a 26 yard field goal as time expires to give the Ragin Cajuns the upset in Norman over #5 OU.

I managed to beat the team I hate the most. I am a happy man.

Somehow this only managed to make it to #4 on my Big Games or whatever that list is.

I lost my freshman beast RB in that Arkansas game and has been out my last 2 and I cant get anything going on the ground without him. My QB has been having career games.

Just won in overtime to Temple. We are 6-0 and just chugging along. I can't believe the stoutness of our defense.

I saw what a #1 team looked like last night. We went into Palo Alto feeling like we could compete. We came away realizing we were trying to win individual awards, rather than accomplish something as a team. This approach resulted in a 64-14 blowout loss for us. 6 interceptions and some self-reflection got me to realize that this loss was all on me. I got greedy, instead of doing what I did earlier in the season, which was play my matchups, I tried to light up Stanford and I was determined to do it. That led to bad passes and ignoring our Heisman candidate RB (Dillon Baxter).

We get a chance to redeem ourselves with a trip to Washington and I am going to go back to my corps. Read the safeties and corners, adjust the routes. Read the #’s in the box and audible to a run if the numbers are in our favor. I think doing this will allow us to get back to winning and having a much more effective offense.

After the game, we dropped to #11 in the country and are now 6-2 overall. We still lead the Pac-12 South, so we may get another shot at Stanford down the road as well.

FIU must be beyond terrible in real life, because 8 games in and my QB already holds the records for the most passing yards and passing TD's. I'll come with a big update today on this season. Been back and forth all year long.
