NCAA Dynasty Update Thread

Since Crimmsonghost is a little bitch I'll ask this here.

In my PITT dynasty, I play FCS EAST in week two. I believe this is a made up team the game has for teams not in the game. In this case, Maine. Are the players the same as Maine? If not I'm thinking of switching that game to Navy since they renewed that rivalry.

They don't have division 2 teams anymore so they replace them with fcs (enter direction here)

I'd probably do a full chise but I'm leaving for 9 days tomorrow and I've already finished most of my first season in Ohio. I've put it to Heisman difficulty for both recruiting and playing, my QB is inaccurate as shit and receivers all have stone hands but we are somehow 6-4

I'm posting a Purdue Dynasty at DSS if anyone cares to read, and I also have a little side coaching legacy, starting at Tulane as the OC. I'm 0-1 atm but the team is pretty awful, need a year of development and we should be good.

Finally won my second game, a 34-7 smashing of Louisiana Lafayette. Had 3 or 4 recruits at the game, so that can't hurt.

Mostly looking at 1* and 2* guys, but have a 3* JUCO recruit who I think I can get. A possession WR, I need him as I feel I get like 10 dropped passes a game

We managed to escape with a victory when we traveled to Marshall this week. The final score was 24-16, however we were leading 24-0 at one point so this was not an impressive showing late in the game for our defense.

I had two touchdown runs called back by holding so I only wound up with 20 carries for 87 yards and a TD on the ground. I also caught two passes for 28 yards and was named "Player of the Game".

Next week we travel to #1 LSU to take it hard with an ass baton...

WOW! I think I can finally say that I've arrived as an individual player. While we lost the game, suffering a 23-16 defeat in Death Valley against #1 LSU is certainly nothing to hang your head about. We were in the game late into the 4th Quarter and I recorded a career-long rushing touchdown. It sucks that we lost The Tiger Rag for another year, but we will be back. Unfortunately, I fumbled for the first time in my career and it led to an LSU touchdown, which would turn out to be the difference in the game. It's tough to not beat myself up about that one...

I had 20 carries for 184 yards and an 87-yard rushing touchdown late in the 4th Quarter that gave us a glimmer of hope for an upset. A new career high for rushing yards in a game! I also snagged 4 passes for 48 yards.

LSU got a tougher contest than they certainly expected.​

Also, before the game I was named a "Team Legend". I have my coaches complete trust at this point!

WOW! This week we visited sunny El Paso to play the Miners of UTEP. Boy, was it a crazy game! This matchup went all the way to triple-overtime and, for once, I completely carried our team to victory. Down 48-42, I scored the game-tying touchdown on 4th and 11 and then converted the two-point conversion to give us a 50-48 victory! Naturally, I was named "Player of the Game".

I managed to get 32 carries for 265 yards and three rushing touchdowns, as well as 5 receptions for 40 yards and the game-tying touchdown.

UTEP couldn't even begin to figure out how to stop me today.​

Sitting at 3-6, we have very little room for error as we travel to Houston next week. If we want a bowl invite, we can't slip up from here on out.

You have had a serious run as of late. Your Junior/Senior years could be beastly if you continue to improve and play at this level every week.

I decided to start off as an offensive coordinator at Western Kentucky for my dynasty. Using a custom playbook that is a lot like Mississippi State's. First game of the season was against Kentucky. We managed to pull off a last second victory with a final score of 28-27.

I was listening to Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac as my QB scored on this 76 yard run. It was quite a magical moment for this team.​

Next up is Navy. Should be an interesting game.

Well, I am a bit peeved. I had an awesome 3OT game with Houston where I scored the game-winning TD, but the game fucking froze. I didn't feel right replaying it so I just simmed it.

We wound up losing 29-14 the second time around, so I'm now officially out of bowl contention. THANKS EA! :thumbsup: (motherfuckers)

Tight game with Navy. Every time I thought we were going to pull away they scored to keep it close. We managed to win 31-27 despite their effort. My QB (Kawaun Jakes) had another good game with 2 TDs on the ground and 1 through the air.

Haven't had much time to play the last few days. I am still stuck on the New Mexico game. Hopefully I can get that in soon. I am also starting to research playbooks and creating a custom playbook for my dynasty. However, I keep hearing about how custome playbooks are fucked. Don't know the story behind it though.

I actually don't know what I am going to do with my dynasty. Part of me thinks it would be kind of cool to be a coordinator and try to take bigger jobs until I get a HC gig at a big school. However, another part of me would rather just do an old-school dynasty and pick a team and play.

I've got a little paralysis by analysis going on the last few days lol.

As much as I like this year's game, RTG has me fucking pulling out my hair at times.

We lost 28-7 against SMU because of the putrid plays run by my team. Somehow, I still managed 25 carries for 163 yards and 4 catches for 59 yards. I imagine it's very frustrating being a great player on a bumfuck team in real life too, though.

This season is a lost cause...

Receiving - 38 receptions, 375 yards, 2 TD
Blocking - 2 pancakes, 1 sack allowed
Defensive - 3 tackles (1 solo, 2 assisted)

A bummer of a year for our team, but I did improve across the board statistically. Hopefully my Junior campaign fares better for us as a squad.

Yeah so far from what I have seen UCF always gets really good by about the third year.

Custom playbooks on offline pop up blank like three or four times a game, which at first I would call timeouts and they would reappear, but upon further review if you just go to the supersim screen then return the plays magically reappear. I discovered this today. Hopefully it helps!

Ended year two with a 10-3 record. We ran into some tough competition early on in conference play, losing 2 games in the first few weeks, but we pulled through and got quite the winning streak going. We started absolutely manhandling conference foes down the road, and ended up finishing 3rd in the conference. My freshman defensive end was an absolute man-child, as he recorded a school record 23 sacks. My junior tailback finished the season 3rd on the NCAA rushing leader board, and both players were selected as first team All-Americans. We ended up getting an invite to the Beef O'Brady's Bowl to face Syracuse. It was a close defensive game, as we pulled it out 13-7 and took home the trophy. Memphis finished the year with a #22 ranking, which we were very proud of. Another decent recruiting class coming in, coupled with some star players returning, and our transfer HB being eligible, will certainly be the groundwork for an interesting 2013.
