Beat USC 23-21 for the National Championship. One of the best games against the CPU ever. I love my sliders. My team is going to lose so many starters so I don't think I'm going to do very good in 2019.

What is a pink star recruit? Never seen it.

Nice. I have a sophomore RB with similar attributes, and he is 6'2 267 lbs. His name is Jarvis Cronin, which is the most perfect name ever for a 270 lb. running back. He's not the full time guy yet, still sharing carries as the #2 but I think he might get 400 carries for me in a season before he leaves.

Has anyone considered adding a twist to their dynasty? I am probably going to start a new dynasty and I thought I might create 2-3 recruits each year of former players. I thought of focusing on players who were great in college, but, flamed out in the pros (e.g. Todd Marinovich, Ryan Leaf, Maurice Clarett, etc.). Would be kind of neat to see where those players decide to attend school and stuff.

I may just do former great players and not burn outs...I don't know, but, I think I'm going to add 2-3 each season just for fun.

Yeah, notre dame raped me. I lost pretty much all my starters from the national championship year and my freshies could not make anything happen.

Final: 31-14

I'm playing as SMU in my dynasty and I put them in the Big 12. Somehow managed to land a 4 star QB recruit my first year and I'm starting him. I've only played on tough game so we're 4-0 and he's been pretty good. One of my receivers has 40 catches, 900 yards, and 12 tds through 4 games. He's like a mid 70's overall but he is just always open and makes things happen for me. He had a 40 yard catch with 20 seconds left to put me in field goal range to beat Okie State 28-27.

I don't go as far as creating recruits but sometimes once I get like 20 years in I'll change recruits' names to give them a famous player's last name, and just pretend that is their son or nephew or something. Just something to give the digital guys a bit more variation.

I'll never forget Preston Peterson, Patrick's son, winning three straight Thorpes for me in the later years of my NCAA 11 dynasty. :shifty:

1-1 in my second year SMU OC chise. Did all the conference realignments and many rumored ones (like SMU to Big East).

Upset #2 Boise (now in the Big 12) in Week 1, then proceeded to lose to an average Baylor team.

I numped down a lot of schols that dropped to one star prestiges to lower conferences so they can get good again. In 3 years for instance USF has only won 2 conference games. They are now in the sun belt.

I went ahead and created just two guys. Went with Marinovich and Deion Sanders. No rhyme or reason why, just did. Sanders has FSU in his top 3 and Marinovich has Stanford and USC in his top 3. I think that's pretty spot on. I started as OC at Southern Cal. I know it may not be much of a challenge, but, I don't know how much time I will have to play and I definitely want to play in some big games early. If I get a HC offer somewhere I will probably jump at it. To start though, I just wanted to be a part of Big Time college football and I didn't want to start at my alma mater (USF).

LOL @ sliders. I am going to use those as well. Found them yesterday and decided to try them in a exhibition game and liked how they played.

USF always gets the shaft from Tiburon and UCF has historically risen to prominence in the NCAA series. I definitely think Tiburon is looking out for those in their own backyard (UCF).

Played #12 Arkansas and my freshman QB got hurt. Was down 21-13 with a minute left and had the ball on the half yard line, 4th down. Called a QB sneak and my guy got stopped. I nearly got a safety but their RB broke the tackle and got 5 yards.

#1 Ohio State (2-0) @ unranked Cal (0-1). Offense sputters all day, but managing a 20-14 lead with around :30 seconds left. Then, defense gives up a touchdown on a big pass play to mean we were down 21-20.

Big return from James Louis gives us the ball at midfield. Braxton finds Ty Williams for a big-time play to get the ball down to the 11 yard line with :12 seconds left. Centered the ball and called timeout with :05 seconds left. Senior K Drew Basil lines up for the game winning field goal and...




























NAILS IT!! 23-21!! The streak lives on at 18 games!

Seriously, what a game. I thought we were done for after they scored but my boys pulled out another one. My offense is just pitiful this year, I can't string together drives and Braxton for whatever reason is nowhere near as accurate as he was last year, and teams are spying me a lot more taking away his threat on the ground. It's going to be a tough road to repeat if my O keeps playing like that.

After getting killed at #2 Wisconsin and #22 Miami, I came back home to start my MAC schedule against Buffalo. My 1st year starter, who is a Jr (RS) got hurt in the 1st Q (out for 3 wks) and my backup (So (RS)) got hurt in the middle of the 3rd Q (out for the game). I had to burn the redshirt off my Fr. and he ended up going 5-7, 152 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT and brought us back in a shootout....W 59-44 (sounds about right for the MAC).

Moved SMU and some other teams to the Big East to create a 12 team conference. Still OC at SMU in year 2.

So far, we are 4-2 with losses to #14 TCU 37-24 and 4-2 Baylor 38-35. My starting RB Zach Line (who rushed for 1500 yards and 7 TDs last season) went out in the first game, and he is set to return next week.

However, the backup true freshman Prince Williams (what a badass name that is) has ran for 835 yards and 8 TDs in his absence (including a 265 yard 3 TD performance in our win over Cincy).

Garrett Gilbert is our starting QB and he's completed 61% for 1473 yards, 13 TD, and 9 Int. He's a huge improvement over every eligible QB we had last season, who all threw more picks than scores.

My contract is up after this season, and I really want to be a head coach somewhere, but I don't want to leave Prince Williams behind, because I really think I can win a Heisman with him in a couple seasons.

Our defense is playing great all game and we're up 27-10 heading into the fourth (the only touchdown we gave up was a KR).

Then all of a sudden, both our offense and defense collapse and they score 21 straight to take the lead 31-27 with a minute left. On my first play, I get a 78 yard touchdown pass after my guy makes one man miss.

But god dammit, we miss the extra point (fuck not letting me kick it). Then, with 0:54, they drive down the field and kick a FG to win 34-33. Fuck. My. Life.

My defense pisses me off so much. I can't wait to be a HC and control that shit.

I made it a point to watch the play when it came to PAT, they rarely missed it.

I hated that shit as an OC. It always seemed like no matter how good I was doing, my defense would fuck everything up. Same for my special teams. God awful. Was a little better OCing at USC, but still my defense would lose me some games.

I love being head coach at the U. My dream job makes me just want to bring them to be the greatest of all time. I loved the realism this year as i was an OC at a lower tier school for 4 years. Once I gained recognition, I stepped it up to a hugely popular program (USC) and beasted. Da U decided I was there man and I have not let them down yet (except my first season where I inherited a BARELY 3 star subpar 4-8 Miami team.

I just can't put this game down.

Rough 7-6 season. Some strange losses and a surprising win against Oregon. 7-6 is ugly and it earned us a trip to the Las Vegas Bowl against San Diego State. IRL USC isn't eligible for a bowl. However, you can not turn down bowl bids in this game, so I simply SIMMED the game and won 42-13.

Todd Marinovich signed with Oklahoma and Deion Sanders signed with his RL school in FSU.

EJ Manuel won the Heisman with 38 total TD and 2,780 pass yards. Andrew Luck came in 2nd and Case Keenum in 3rd.
