there are times when this game makes me want to smash a controller.
i dont understand why a linemen would run right past a defender to try and block someone in the secondary. right off the snap they run right past a DL....makes no sense.

i find that PA Pass plays have some of the best route in the game. But most are worthless because when u run a PA play you usually get smacked right after u complete the fake. I just dont get it. Pass blocking works great on normal pass plays. But on PA the DL just busts right thru every time

little things like this just wear me down and make me get sick of these football games. if it wasnt for these absolutely retarded moments then this would be a really good game

You do know you can pick a PA Play and not do the Play Action. Just hot block the HB or FB who the QB is faking it to. Then it becomes a regular pass play.

Am I the only one completely annoyed by this injury system. I'll have a RB supposedly out 5 weeks in dynasty mode but instead he'll miss maybe 10 weeks. You don't go from 2 weeks, 1 week, doubtful, stay at questionable for 3 weeks, then go probably and then your healthy. 5 weeks means 5 fucking weeks until your 100%. Not sure how many of you played NFL 2K5's franchise mode but lets say you have a really bad turf toe and its a 10 week injury. Maybe you have 5 weeks left until your 100% but your probable to play. That's how injury report works. You can have 5 weeks left but be probable. Or have 1 week until your back from an injury but be doubtful or out. You don't go from 1 week, to doubtful to questionable etc. A 5 week injury means 5 fucking weeks until your player is 100% healthy no more no less. EA completely fucked this up and it annoys the shit out of me. Whenever a player of mine gets injured i just double the number the game says because that's how long they'll probably be out. God I hope Madden's franchise mode isn't like this.

The injury system is something they could really add some depth too.

My idea:
OUT -# of weeks
DOUBTFUL - % to play
QUESTIONABLE % to play
PROBABLE % to play

You should be able to practice with the guy and see how he plays dependent on the injury. The injury should maybe affect his rating in a certain area. Broken thumb....lower Catch Rating, pulled hammy then lowered speed and accelration.

It would really be cool if they would do that. I mean say it is the National Championship game.....put the guy and and see if he can tough it out. Create a toughness rating....which would lower the severity of the ratings hit when injured.

Yeah they should have two separate categories. Weeks and status. Weeks is obviously a number and status would then be out, doubtful, questionable, or probable. They could at the very least get that straightened out because this shit is just silly.

Create a few animations based on the randomly generated injuries. Maybe even some tackling animations that result in injury. I mean it seams 100% random.

I just hate when a guy has a leg injury and he is holding his ribs....are we that lazy?

I was playing as OC, but not having control of defense is irritating to sat the least. I was playing ACC championship game, I scored a TD with less than 2 minutes to go, to go up by 10, I hit the button to skip till on field again, and the CPU proceeds to drive down score, get onside kick, score game over. In seconds. Plus I have no say in kicking game either.

yeah it works both ways....i'm the dc for montana and was playing #24 oregon state to end the season in year 1 and was down 14-10 with just over 2 minutes left in the 4th....i make a stop and get my offense the ball with a chance to win only to have the qb throw a pick six and lose 21-10.

worst loss of the season (and that includes a 63-17 ass kicking by boise state)

I seem to get better results when I actually "watch play" but this does make the game longer. If I "sim" the play, the cpu may score a TD in 40 seconds but if I watch the play it takes longer.

Yeah I find that too, I still said fuck it and took HC job at UNLV after two years at Western Michigan end one at Maryland.

I'm at UNLV right now in my Online Dynasty. I was at UAB for two years, then got jumped to MWC to UNLV on a 1 year deal cuz CUSA sucks. They were 0-11 last season, got them at 6-1 right now, boosted me up to an A+ Coach, so hopefully i can get some good offers this offseason.

Note: I'm only taking HC jobs, i was offered OC at USC/arky and maryland last season but turned them down.
