Me too, I just wish they didn't break the no-huddle playcalling system which was PERFECT before the patch broke it.

I'm in year 3 of a dynasty where I started as Northwestern(Dan Persa<3) as Pat Fitzgerald. Lost 3 or 4 games the first year. Lost only one game in the second year(Gator Bowl or s0me shit to Georgia). Got an offer to be the HC at Rice, so I jumped at it. I'm almost done with the first year at Rice. I've lost one game (to #17 ranked Baylor), but I've won everything else with 3 weeks to go I believe. Had a 3OT game against Houston which was fun as hell. I've managed to grab a bunch of 3star recruits away from the other Texas schools (I think I've got 11 or 12 3star commits already). Hopefully I can finish the season strong.

Custom playbooks can be redone from what I can see, so the only major issue seems to be no huddle.

Like when your D-Linemen (for SOME odd reason) aren't able to run the 4.2 40 that it takes to make it back across the line of scrimmage and you get flagged for it? That shit sucks.

So I finished my first season as HC at Rice, went 10-2 (lost to #17 ranked Baylor and my boys at Tulsa) and went to whatever bowl game is played in Memphis. Played against Pitt and won it 24-20. Finished the season ranked #25. Managed to pull in 13 3-stars, 6 two stars, and a 1 star. Got HC offers at Colorado (VERY tempted to take it) and Arkansas State, along with DC at Florida State.

Decided to stay with Rice and see what I can do with the team again. Had a RSFreshman QB last year who took over for the SR QB 4 games in due to injury, and he ended up making 1st team C-USA All-American, along with a fellow RSFreshman at RB (1,367 yards and 9 td's on the ground). I'm excited about this year. I've got one more year on my contract after this year, and I think I'll stay through until the end so I can get the team some more recruits and get them highly ranked liked I did with Northwestern to start this.

Played the first game of the season AT Tennessee, scraped out a win 21-20. Huge win for the team. Next game is at Baylor. Hopefully I can get some revenge from last years blowout loss to them.

How is the 360 version after the updates?

I heard about the no huddle screw up, does it pop up on the Xbox? I'm getting a $20 Best Buy gift card and can trade my PS3 version (360 version sounded like the better one) for $22...right now it's selling for $47 @ BB. What was actually fixed and what new problems have shown up?

edit: I don't play online, just offline Dynasty and RTG. I might just pick up the game and not open it till the patch is released (should be in a week or 2) and get final word on it, just so I can take advantage of the sale price.

I am finding the no huddle is fucked. Unless this is how the game is suppose to be played, when I go to select a defence after CPU calls no huddle I have basically a standard play book. So like in my 3-3-5 defence, I have stack, across, okie, and two others. I can only select select the plays from stack. In my dime, I can only select single LB. Makes it really frustrating because all my blitz plays for example are in Okie, and I can't select them in no huddle, so basically I get a lot of games where the comp can just throw all day on me because I get no pressure on the QB.

It ruined my game last night. I've been having great games lately against the CPU, and last night had a come 29-26 lead on the comp with 45 seconds to go. He has the ball on the 20, and I sack him for a loss on bring up 4th and 18. Put up a throwing deep cover defence, and everytime it happens, easily find a wide open guy that my defence just doesn't cover. So next two plays are incomplete, third down is a sack again, loss of 7, so 4th and 17 and no huddle because of little time. I figure, game in the bag. Put up coverage, my FS and SS are my best defence players. QB throws a bomb to a wide open WR in the middle about 30 yeards. Right where my player is suppose to be in coverage. Both guys do stupid dive animation and that ends that game.

Patch I guess is next week, and I do remember being able to select all the plays when in no huddle before this last fuck up patch. So hopefully this solves it, but with the 3-3-5 defence, the plays I have right now, it basically just simple man to man and cover 2's. I was fine with it for the most part, and didn't get to pissed with no huddle. But when you go from having one of the best D's in the nation, to getting lit up for 300 yards per game through the air because you can't get any pressure on the QB, it just takes out the fun for me.

I'm actually considering poping in Madden 09 I got here, and playing a franchise till this is fixed.

This is what sucks for me, because on August 1st I was going to trade it in, and I was only going to get $20 for it. Don't even want to think of what I'll be getting for it now. If they fix this no huddle thing so I can pick the proper defence I am perfectly fine. The game will do for what I need it for.

Probably what I should do, but can't really complain to much. I knew once hockey hit the game would be a cure for the itch to play a football game and nothing more. Next year I'll skip this and think about getting madden instead.

cause seniors are never labeled with the "pro draft" tag, all seniors even if they are the best player in the game get "graduated" as their reason for leaving.
