Not sure why ESPN is reporting all of this, considering no votes have actually gone down.
A&M votes on Monday. They will certainly vote to leave the Big 12.
The HUGE caveat here is the SEC vote and ESPN's effect on it. If ESPN tells the SEC, "We're not going to give you more money for more teams", you better believe most of the schools in the SEC will reject A&M. ESPN has a lot of reasons for doing this, chiefly among them their network contract with Texas.
Also, Texas state legislation had a big part in last year's conference talks. Those in command of this situation run as follows: 1 Baylor alum, 1 Tech alum, 4 Texas alum. A&M bumped up their meeting at the last minute to get a day ahead of this committee, but it won't really matter in the long run should the committee decide to block them.
If the SEC actually votes not to let A&M in, you better believe it's going to be a very uncomfortable living situation in the next few years in the Big 12.
