Also the teaser trailer is CONFIRMED to being with Harry Potter this Friday. I'll be going at midnight, but hopefully we get the trailer before then. It is longer then Nolan's other two Batman films' teaser trailers.

It's surprising that Warner Brothers simply released the trailer with no viral. We probably won't be getting another detailed "whysoserious" type game again. But it's surprising they didn't even use the "firerises" twitter account to release this. Batman should be trending on twitter right now, but it's not. :/

Cut to Gordon in a hospital bed laying on his side. Looks to be in serious pain. Has A breathing mask on. Is talking to someone.

Gordon: We were in this together, then you were gone…….Now this Evil rises. The Batman…..HAS to come back.(all this is said in a very raspy voice, in much pain)

Bruce/Batman(its not shown who he’s talking to, so don’t know in which form Bruce is visiting him in. My guess would be as Bruce Wayne) : What if he doesn’t exist anymore?

This part is the hardest to understand in the entire trailer, I listened to it at least 10 times but the score is over powering here and Gordon is having trouble talking. It sounds like if says Humor me while trying to laugh. I might be wrong here, full disclosure.

During this quick talk we’re shown a shot of the bat cycle when it drives up the ramp from Dark Knight, Gordon destroying the Act Signal all cut in with the Hospital. As well as super fast flashes of Bane’s face.

Pan up crumbling buildings to reveal the teaser poster, the camera zooms to the white opening and on an all white screen the title appears. The score reaches a fever pitch before turning over to The chanting from the website.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Fades to black and then we see Batman backing away from something, then Bane enters from the left side of the screen. Very quick shot then the trailers done.

So it seems that Bruce stops being Batman for awhile. I think that's what I'm most interested in coming away from this teaser. Wondering what the story is behind that. I mean I have my guesses, but it'll be interesting to see what Nolan does with it.

I would have to assume that Harvey Dent's death inspired the city, and along with Batman becoming a feared criminal the city no longer needed Batman's protection. Bruce would then be able to use his wealth to help the city through philanthropic events, instead of fighting crime as Batman.

 
They've already shot a scene at Wayne Manor where Wayne hosts a party meant to raise funds for an orphanage.


Obviously once Bane shows up and puts Gordon in the hospital (???), Batman is forced back into action. It remains to be seen how large of a sacrifice Batman will make to stop Bane, but Nolan is making this a definitive conclusion to his trilogy.

I've watched it at least 12 times already lol I hope the fight scenes between Batman and Bane are just fucking epic.
 
I keep watching that last 3 seconds where Bane is walking towards Batman and Tom Hardy just looks ripped beyond belief.

They've already shot a scene at Wayne Manor where Wayne hosts a party meant to raise funds for an orphanage.


Obviously once Bane shows up and puts Gordon in the hospital (???), Batman is forced back into action. It remains to be seen how large of a sacrifice Batman will make to stop Bane, but Nolan is making this a definitive conclusion to his trilogy.

If he ends it on an evil note...Bane breaking the Bats back and FIN end of story...I'd mark out.
