Coach K is renowned for having players in his system stay for all 4 years, especially the white ones. His stock is dropping, not rising. I can see him MAYBE going late in the 2nd, but no earlier.


He's averaging 2 turnovers per game to 2 assists per game.

He's a career 37% 3pt shooter at the collegiate level. NBA 3 point line is farther than a college 3. 3pt %'s usually take a big hit when going from college to the NBA.

He's a career 43% FG shooter, at the collegiate level and has been steadily declining every year to the point where he is barely over 40% this year.

He averages 2.8 fouls per game to barely just 1 block per game (while being 6-8 and playing a SF/PF role).

His Free Throw % has fluctuated around 75% for his career.

He averages around 15 PPG on a highscoring Duke team, and again while at the collegiate level.

He averages around 6.8 rebounds per game in his career, again standing at 6-8 at the collegiate level.



What exactly about any of his stats really stands out to you? What makes him worth any draft pick? Much less a first...

He's got a lot to prove before he even thinks about going to the next level.

Tell me how he has a nice jumper. Barely 40% FG%, under 40% 3pt% IN COLLEGE, and 75% FT%. How does that transfer to any type of a good shooter in the NBA?

Not to mention all his other faults.
