Manning was superb. If you're still a doubter of his then you are blinded by hate. The guy stuck in there and got his ass kicked throwing 58 passes, 2 TDs, and no turnovers. Respect.

Sad to see the Niners lose like that. A team so well coached and run like that does not deserve to lose on two muffed punt returns.

I believe the Giants ran 90 plays on offense and the 49ers ran 57. I will miss watching the 49ers D this offseason. They were superb and hands down the best in the league, IMO.

I won $20 because I thought NYG would win so I bet on them but I would have liked to see SF in the Super Bowl. Don't know who I'm going to be rooting for now.

I'd hesitate to call Eli Manning superb in that game. He played solid against the 49ers defense but superb? C'mon. Part of the reason he got his ass kicked was the fact that the Giants had him drop back over 60 times. The Giants defense and Kyle Williams are the reason that team won this game.

-Victor Cruz for most of the game
-The defense brought it -- two big throws to Vernon Davis, Gore had a big day, too, but just 2 big plays allowed
-Special teams (Weatherford punting and holding, Devin Thomas, Jaiquan Williams, Tynes)

The OL had a bad day and the run game wasn't effective tho

Eli was solid as I said but he caught a couple breaks on some shit throws. Not to mention how lucky you guys got with that forward progress call. However the Giants D allowed the 49ers to convert on third down once which was big. The two fumbles resulted in 10 of your 20 points and played a gigantic role in the win.

It was. Bradshaw was already moving backwards, which was the call. They whistle it dead when the guys progress is stopped, and it was.

He had barely begun to move backwards because he was being tackled. It wasn't like no one was bringing him down and they were all standing up, the 49ers guy was bringing him down and as it happened the ball was stripped. The whistle was blown too early.

Brady and Eli both won because of their defense. At the same time Flacco and Smith were a FG away from also winning because of their defense.
So I don't see how bringing up this fact for Eli when he wasn't the only one is very relevant or telling.
