If we are talking pure realism it's not a horrible trade if Marshall didn't have his off the feild problems. You will be hard pushed to find many better talented young wide receivers out there then Brandon Marshall , and even if you do , they are normally tied up for years to come with no option of leaving .

But with his current issues and being "one strike away" from a more lengthy suspension I couldn't see an nfl team throwing that at him .

If you aren't trying to get THAT realistic then I would so it's not a bad trade , Kiwi is replaceble , especially in a system that could make average dlineman/olbs look good with the other stars in NY . 1st for the Giants if they got Marshall would be really late on and same with the 3rd .

I know the Gmen really like Hixon though , but then again I am farely sure that Juggernaut is a Giants fan so he would know better than me

The giants give away Kiwanuka and a 1st and 3rd? is Marshall that good? I know he has 100 catches two years in a row but still...it seems like a lot. I'd think Kiwi and a 1st at most.

actually I traded back the third for my sixth so not its just the first, Kiwi and Hixon,,, I know Denver wouldnt do it without a reciever and Hixon was the guy everyone said was going to go if the G-Men got Edwards

Without the off field issues, which Madden doesn't account for al that much (I know they have the morale thing but it would be better if the player was constantly emailing you or the coach was complaining about the guy or something), you probably did ok. 2 100 catches seasons can't be dismissed, the Giants need a guy desperately, he's probably better than Edwards anyway. The other post (Archer?) is right, Kiwi is replaceable, but a darn solid player at DE, he'll start in Denver I'd bet. Hixon makes sense for Denver because he's versatile. The first draft choice still seems stiff but without the issues, this is a guy Denver would never trade so I guess he'd bring a big asking price. Why do you want to trade him in your game anyway? Just don't like him, or just trying to improve the Jints?

And Kiwi was expendable because of the shit load of depth they have on the D Line

Depending on who you listen to in the media , they are trying to trade him right now . He has made it very clear that he wants no part of the Broncos (according to sources)

hey guys i need some opinions; i am using the jags and have myself a steady core of MJD marcedes lewis and steve breaston but want a complementary receiver for breaston! in my chise i have benched garrard for Rhett Bomar so i wanna use him for trade bait if you will! any suggestions on who and how to make seem realistic?

What did you give for Breaston? And whats wrong with Holt as a complementary WR?

I'm the broncos in that trade and I'm doing it because I need an accurate passer who can start for a year before I draft or pick up a quarterback.

I'm not good with orton, throwing 3 or 4 picks a game yet I usually throw only one with garcia

I have no problem witht trading the three, since none of themare starters and can be replaced, yet if I want to upgrade the trade, would them adding a third rounder be better?

I modified the Jets-Broncos trade I made to help makemy team younger and help the Jets make a run this year

Jets Recieve:
WR 92 Brandon Marshall
TE 83 Daniel Graham

Broncos Recieve:
TE 77 Dustin Keller
LB 79 David Harris
HB 80 Leon Washington

Instead of cotch I receive keller who has much better value. I throw in graham who will start immediately and will help make up an impressive receiving corps with marshall, graham, and cotch. Add in that rex ryan wants his rookie qb to succed it would makesense for rex to trade for an elite wideout.

I get 3 good young players, plus I get to shop correl buckhalter who I do not like. My young nucleus gets stronger and the future will bre brighter. Moreno will be able to split carries so he won't get worn out as fast as he'llhave a very good player spelling him.

I doubt this trade..Keller really impressed last year. And Washington is a change of pace guy for the Jets. Without Washington, Thomas Jones will break down

Marshall is a headache...not only that but Keller can be one of the best TE in the future. He is young and has a lot of time to improve. This is only his 2nd year in the NFL....

Washington is also one of the best KR/PR guys in the NFL...especially with Hester not being as good as he used to be..
