The players make tons of money too, no doubt about that. Its not their fault for the lockout though....that rests squarely on ownership.
Put it in perspective and ask yourself this......
You and your boss agree to a deal in which you are both happily making a bunch of money.
Three years later, your boss comes to you and says I want you to take a 20% pay cut and work 2 hours longer each day while doing a job that may leave you crippled.
Would you say yes for the greater good of the company?
Its my understanding that the CBA expired this year, so its time for a new agreement. This is the way it works in professional sports. They sign deals, but no one expects that deal to last a lifetime. As times change, economies change, revenue changes and with that contracts change.
