So... I'm 8-6 with two games pending. I'm almost decent at this. Definitely better than I am at the MMA picks.

Dixon wasn't great, but it didn't fucking matter. Batch is a pretty good backup, I think. He's done decent in his career coming off the bench.

Lol. Did he throw a pick? Did he fumble? The point is that their team can work efficiently with basically anyone behind center because they have the NFL's best defense.

You're exactly right. There's no reason for him to come out of the game. Yes, he played bad, but when the offensive line doesn't give you any protection and the playcalling goes vanilla, bad things were doomed to happen. He was playing lights out before the first interception.

Honestly, I feel like no matter who was playing at QB for the Steelers, our defensive line was getting to them and they weren't having a good game.

I don't agree with that at all.
His most significant win came against the Packers in the playoffs at Lambeau.

IMO, Vick would make the Bills at least relevant. Their O-Line is so bad, the only guy who could rescue them is Vick.
Chan Gailey is an imaginative offensive guy, I suspect he'd have fun with Vick.

Vick isn't stunningly accurate in any weather, so what does Buffalo's weather matter? Vick certainly has the arm strength for western New York's weather.

Yes, Trent Edwards is a lousy QB, but behind that O-Line and with those receivers, Joe Montana wouldn't have a chance. But Vick might, because he's a rare breed of QB who can rush for 100 yards a game and make a difference without passing the ball.

Assuming Vick doesn't get back the Eagles' top job this year (and I suspect he might) and get a new contract with the Birds, a lot of teams in the NFL could do worse than signing Michael Vick.

Is he perfect? Absolutely not, but in the right offence/offense he produces. And, really, the Bills have Trent Edwards, the Browns Jake Delhomme/Seneca Wallace, etc... Surely one of those loser teams can take a chance on Vick.

Ya, before the first pick. I like the guy, but he needs to play well. Granted, it was against the fucking Steelers. This is just like Sanchez's pedestrian game against the Ravens. Two of the top-five defenses in the league, seen? You can't really hold it against them.

Who won? ... That is all. (Don't groan this post. I'm as upset that they won as you are. I like VY, and I hate the fucking Steelers. Everytime the Steelers win a game, an angel is kicked out of heaven. Then he has to pray to Polamalu, the lone decent being on the Steleers, for forgiveness.)

Well, he is the only non-Packer to ever win a playoff game in Green Bay, and it was pretty cold during that one. Why wouldn't his legs and arm strength play in Buffalo? I think he'd be a better option than drafting Locker (no accuracy) or Mallett (will struggle behind that OL).

Happy with the Dolphins win but I didn't like how Henne was still hesistant to go deep. On the first play of the game, he threw a 46 yard bomb over to Marshall and I thought they were going to continue to do that. Wrong. They kept going with short passes. Very impressed with our defense and how Wake, Davis, and Dansby played.

Michael Vick might be the smartest man in the NFL right now. He realizes this Eagles team isn't good enough to go anywhere this year so rather than complain about being benched he's going to sit back and watch Kolb drive this team into the ground and get a big deal in the offseason out of it.

Good point. He's handling it surprisingly well, but in the long run he'll make more money from it when he's in San Francisco, or Buffalo, or Oakland, or Cleveland, or Carolina, or wherever

Well sucks my niners lost but we sure as hell didn't go out without a fight. I knew we left too much time when Gore punched it on the endzone, but totally called the draw play out before it happened.

Even though it was a loss I feel this should be a good confidence boost for San Fran to get back on the right track. Last week was just horrible, and it was against the friggin Seahawks. Alex Smith look good, and his INT was just a good play by the LB poppin the ball to tip it for an INT.
