My keeper league has us pick 1 player to hang onto, that was not our first or second round pick. My choices are:

Chad Henne
Vernon Davis
Miles Austin
Rashard Mendenhall
Fred Jackson
Chad OchoCinco
Knowshon Moreno
Tony Gonzalez
Pierre Garcon

If you could choose 1 of those players, who would it be? From a fantasy standpoint obviously.

I think I'd have to hang on to one of the running backs, probably Mendenhall.. Gonzo is going to put up some good stats as well though. It'd be a toss up between those two guys (Gonzo and Mendenhall) for me..

Garcon. Just because he plays for the Colts and he broke the record for receptions in an AFC championship game last year... Rashard is supposed to be really good, so is Miles. Vernon's coming off his first great year, we don't know how long that's going to last.

Chad and Tony are still good, but over the hill and Fred's in a crowded backfield.

I was bashed for saying Denver's D was going to miss Nolan. They were allowing Cincy into field goal range on every drive, a first string offense that has looked utterly terrible in every other preseason game.

Denver - 6-10 if they don't improve the defense.

Those rumors broke over the weekend... and were promptly flat out denied by his dad. Since then, Tate's gotten his wangs back!!

Best part was his dad, who has had both of his sons transfer multiple times in their college careers, saying he would not support a transfer...

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch suggests that WR Brandon Gibson is on the Rams' roster bubble.
"He needs to make something happen," writes beat reporter Jim Thomas. Gibson flashed some ability down the stretch last year, but has been nicked up since OTAs and appears to be plummeting down the depth chart. At best, he's a fourth receiver behind Laurent Robinson, Donnie Avery, and Danny Amendola. And fourth receivers have to play special teams. Gibson doesn't.

IIRC W2B was saying he has potential to be the Rams #1 receiver. Sucks he couldn't stay healthy.

Looking back I wish the Raiders drafted T, Anthony Davis with the 8th overall pick. The reason the Raiders won't be making the playoffs is because Mario Henderson + Khalif Barnes are right up there as one of the worst starting tackle combinations in the league along with the Chiefs and Bills. Kirk Morrison wasn't a bad player in my opinion although Rolando McClain will probably show to be a better all around player.

I still maintain that they should've kept Morrison on the roster and moved him to strongside. But such is life.

Yeah, he started his career on the strong-side and he probably would fare better than Kamerion Wimbley who I believe occupies that position now.

Just a btw, the Morrison picked ended up being Jacoby Ford.
