Graham Harrell this preseason: 13/24 (54%), 153 yards (6.4 ypa), and no touchdowns and no interceptions. From the little I saw of Harrell I did like. I am a huge Harrell fan and I really hope he makes the roster as their 3rd quarterback.

From what I've seen:

- He has shown good mobility. Saw him scramble a few times avoiding sacks and even saw him break a tackle.
- Made nothing but good decisions. Every receiver he threw the ball to was open.
- His accuracy and ball placement was for the most part good but not always. Saw him a couple times could've put the ball a little higher for the receiver to make it easier to catch and one time he threw the ball well behind his receiver. Most importantly though, he put the ball in a place where only his receiver could get it. For the most part I'd say this part of his game was a positive.

- Everything he did was dinking and dunking it. While he did that pretty well I didn't see him throw much of anything down the field. I guess thats just not Graham Harrell's game.

Almost as bad as when they announced Ted Ginn at the podium over Brady Quinn (in hindsight, you have to acknowledge at that time that was the money pick that fell in Miami's lap).

Jason Campbell looks like he's doomed this season. Jason Veldheer isn't ready to start and Mario Henderson was the worst starting tackle in the league last year. LT has been a problem for the Raiders for many years. Seriously, they go from Kwame Harris to Mario Henderson?!

Vincent Jackson to the Rams would make me very happy.

A King Sam, Steve Jackson, Vincent Jackson trio is a great unit to build around offensively.

:yep: Let's hope they can shade some runningback blocking to the weak side or something. That seems to be the main place the team hasn't improved, but we seem to look better overall.

I hate to say this... Truly, truly HATE to say this, but I think Phillip Rivers may have in fact elevated VJ in SD. Made him look better than he is and all that.

I don't think he's over rated at all, he's a huge target who runs like a slot receiver. He's a great wide out who Bradford could use.

Former ESPN Monday Night Football announcer Joe Theismann will call games on the NFL Network this season, network spokesman Dennis Johnson told USA TODAY's Michael Hiestand.

Theismann, who called a playoff game for NBC last season, will work with Bob Papa and Matt Millen on the NFL Network's eight-game late-season slate.

"It's great to be back in the booth and joining Matt and Bob on NFL Network's primetime games," said Theismann. "We have a great schedule of games and I can't wait for them to begin."
