About Carson Palmer, i dont know if anyone has seen a piece ESPN did on him when he was a rookie. He was incessantly whining & complaining about the playbook being too big, not wanting to attend film study, it being too boring, etc. This as a rookie when he should have been appreciating his new experience, and hes bitching like an old lady. He basically showed his heart isnt into the game like it is with most NFL stars, who do everything they need to and still go an extra mile. It didnt surprise me at all that he would retire, and that his game has inexplicably fallen off from his early years. Its not about his knee injury, its about him basically not giving a shit.

Trumping everything else, the #1 seed goes to the division champion with the best record. Starting this week the Texans were the only team to have their division clinched. If the 4 10-3 teams would've won out then eventually Baltimore would jump ahead, but for the time being they weren't.

The fuck is this shit.

I guess that means the pats/ravens/steelers would've all been wildcard teams since they didn't have their division clinched.

When you're doing playoff projections at the start of week 15 you obviously use current division leaders.

Did anyone else find it hilarious that Hakeem Nicks dropped a wide open pass that would have most certainly been a TD, minutes after they showed the piece on Sunday Countdown where Cris Carter talked about his giant hands and how he was an elite receiver?

Especially when that drop may have cost his team a win in a super tight NFC East/Wild Card race?

As a tiebreaker you use "current division leaders", only until you actually have division leaders. All 4 teams were tied at 10-3, but only the Texans had clinched a division. So they won the tiebreaker coming into this week.

It's not "shit", it's what the procedure is.

He was, but he threw it RIGHT TO the lineman. The only way it would've been better is it were gift wrapped. It's like when he gets scared he stares right at where he doesn't want to throw it, and of course throws it right there.

It's like when you're riding a bike and there is a rock in your path. Even though you obviously want to steer around the rock, if you keep staring at it you are bound to just ride right into it.

But since it didn't end last week, the fact remains that The Texans were the only team with a division title. Again, under those rules the Ravens were a 5th/6th seed with the Pats taking the other spot but you argue they are a #2 and #3.

But this is a dumb argument and you don't see why you're wrong so I quit.
