I'm surprised we didn't take Louis Sakoda at #33.

I enjoyed our 1st day

Yeah, he's known as more of a blocking tight end.

They still have Daniel Graham though right? That move is really puzzling.

But as proud owners of their 2010 first rounder... here's to the Broncos going 4-12 next year so keep on self destructing Denver!

as an outsider i really like the Lions draft picks, you take the best qb and the best TE in most peoples eyes.

Never thought Maclin would be there at #19 and some mocks had LeSean McCoy as their #21 ... and they got him at #53. The McCoy pick reminds me of Desean Jackson last year.

Those are some very nice weapons for McNabb to play with, they already had a good set of young weapons and now they are deadlier.

Titans did just what i thought they would do. Kenny Britt doesnt seem to me like a good pick but what can you do. The Titans always surprise me with there picks so what do i know.

I really like the way Denver drafts without Shanahan. The Raiders continued to be the Raiders. The Chargers had a good pick in the first...did they pick in the 2nd? I don't even know.

Decent day for the Chiefs. It was boring as hell waiting around to see if they would trade to get back in the 2nd. I'm glad they held on to their 2nd rounders next year though since it's a better draft and the Chiefs aren't going to turn things around in one off-season.

No the Patriots had the Chargers 2nd rounder (I have no idea why though).

I don't think them going after a young tight end is puzzling; I had them taking Pettigrew @ 18 in my mock. Scheffler is being dangled and Graham is pretty expensive for a 30 year old blocking tight end. I think a younger, cheaper, and likely more talented guy makes sense.

That said, I think trading back into the second to get Quinn specifically is baffling though.

I agree.. but they have bigger needs than a blocking TE. And to trade back up for him was bizarre. I could see a Jared Cook since he'd replace Sheffler in the passing game and be kind of like their Ben Watson.. but who knows.

My thoughts on the Bronco's draft: I knew Josh McDaniels liked Moreno, but how could he pass up Orakpo? I think Moreno would have still been there at 18. Ayers was a good pick though. At this point we pretty much know what the Broncos got for Jay Cutler: Robert Ayers, Alphonso Smith, and Richard Quinn. I'm ok with the first trade (a second for a first next year) because I think Smith is a good corner, and will help out a lot next year. But the trade for Richard Quinn sucks. Quinn is basically the opposite of Tony Scheffler, he's a really good blocker, but he can't catch/run routes. It looks like this means Scheffler is done in Denver for sure, I expect the Broncos to trade him for a third round pick tomorrow.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Falcons day. Including the Tony G acquisition, we filled 3 holes this week. Our biggest needs were addressed. We got a great pass-rushing DT in Peria Jerry to pair with Babineaux and Abraham, plus a hard-hitting S in William Moore to take over for an ancient Lawyer Milloy.

Interesting seeing hometown kid Michael Johnson still on the board in round 3. A few guys on the Falcons board would love to see us pick him up in round 3, but I don't think it warrants a trade. If he falls to our lap however, I'm all for it.

Also wouldn't mind seeing us grab a C, LB or even another DB. Whatever helps the defense or OL I'm all for.

Why are Denever guys so high on Scheffler. At most you'll get a 5th ro 6th. Hes an injury prone average recieving TE who cant block for shit.

Well I absolutely hated the Pat White pick at 54.. I mean seriously Tuna could have got him in the 3rd but whatever.

The Sean Smith pick brightened my day!

And Vontae Davis I wanted someone else, but I really can not complain with this guy. He's physical and was a need pick.
