I'm not sure how'd i feel if the Jets pick up Marsh, we have 2 decent guys in cotch and edwards.

And if the bengals do sign marsh, then i would be against to signing with them. Why? Because 3 egos that big would be horrendous, especially since one of them won't be the starter.

That's true... They could always start using a primarily spread-out offense, though. Three receivers in their base set... Do they have a notable tight-end I don't know about?

Re-signing veteran tight end Anthony Becht(notes) wasn’t the only business the Arizona Cardinals took care of today.

The team also announced that it has re-signed another tight end, Stephen Spach(notes), to a one-year contract. Defensive end Jeremy Clark(notes) also signed his one-year tender as an exclusive rights free agent.

Spach appeared in seven games last season, making five starts. He caught four passes for 38 yards.

Spach is my favorite tight end on the roster and I'm glad he's back, but I guess this takes us out of the running in regards to drafting Gronkowski.

Very upset about all the money Jerry Jones is throwing around in free agency now that there's no cap. Everyone said that was gonna happen, but I just wasn't prepared.

Now people are going to compare the Cowboys to the Yankees and say they're trying to buy a Super Bowl, unlike all the other frugal teams in the NFC East.

well there is speculation that the new labor deal will bring in a lower cap, thus teams not spending like the cowboys could be at a huge financial advantage in 2011 for the new crop of free agents. Teams like detroit have to spend because regardless of financial situation they need the help now to be more attractive in the future.

Offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges has agreed to terms on a multi-year deal with the team, sources confirmed.


Details weren't available but re-signing Bridges is a key component of the team's off-season plans. Bridges can play all four guard and tackle spots and filled in capably as a starting left tackle when Mike Gandy was hurt last season.


The Cardinals were looking at reserve offensive linemen in free agency, but that was mainly to cover themselves in the event Bridges signed elsewhere.

But since we're here and all, we may as well let you know Schefter reports Jerheme Urban has signed with his old coach Todd Haley in Kansas City.

Haley was Urban's offensive coordinator in Arizona, and caught a career high 34-passes under him in 2008. Arizona didn't tender the restricted free agent receiver a contract last week.

The Chiefs are very thin at wide receiver, so Urban has a decent chance to make the Week One roster.

Urban is a fucking bum receiver who can't hold onto the ball to save his life. Has ruined many drives with his bullshit, but a good special teamer.

Peter King reports via Twitter that free-agent running back LaDainian Tomlinson may (and he emphasizes the "may") visit the Eagles and the Saints after visiting the Jets.

A source with knowledge of the situation told us earlier in the day that there's a 90-percent chance Tomlinson will sign with either Minnesota or New York.

Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports unrestricted free-agent LB Larry Foote (Lions) said he wants to sign with the Arizona Cardinals. "I want to be a Cardinal and hopefully we can get it done. First of all, they're winning. I know [head coach Ken Whisenhunt]. I know his pedigree, what type of coach he is, the talent they have here. They have a good chance of going back to the Super Bowl," Foote said. The Cardinals have not made an offer to Foote at this point.

Linebackers Larry Foote and Joey Porter worked in a meeting with a handful of media types as they wrap up their visit in Arizona. Each clearly would like to be Cardinals — Foote even said that was his preference — although we know how these things work: Money talks. I’ll have more from their interviews a bit later (and we will have video later too) in a homepage story. I don’t necessarily expect news of a signing today, but who knows, I could be wrong. Neither have a contract offer yet, but I’d guess that’ll change soon.

Foote: “I want to be a Cardinal, so hopefully we’ll get it done.”

Porter: “If it happens, it’ll be good fit. I feel I can fill a need, that whole presence of getting to the quarterback.”

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the New York Jets reached an agreement on a one-year, $1.3 million deal with Pool on Thursday night.

After visiting several teams, free agent guard Rex Hadnot has gotten a new home.

Per a league source, Hadnot has agreed to terms with the Cardinals.

It's a multi-year deal. No further details are currently available, but we're working on it.

Hadnot, a six-year veteran, spent four years with the Dolphins and the last two with the Browns. He also visited the Broncos.
