And here I am thinking that this morning when I make my comment I'd get blasted. Looks like I won't be.

After watching last night's game, I've finally decided Sam Bradford sucks. No more games/players needed to be fair. Is he Jamarcus Russell? No. But he is bottom-of-the-league starter ranking. That wide open TD pass he would have had to Pettis that he threw to God knows where :domestic: , Mayock tried to make an excuse for him, but that was nonsense.
 
I've never been less interested in Rams football even in the Spags years.

I'm not ready to give up on Fisher. I do think he has the team moving in a positive direction overall. But the games are very hard to watch. I'm not a fan of Schottenheimer, and I think the desperately need to sign a veteran RB to split time with Richardson. Pead & Cunningham are garbage, and Richardson is not a 20 carry back.

Jags game couldn't have come at a better time, you can't go 1-4 and expect to dig out of that with two Seattle games, one more left with SF, plus Houston, Colts, Saints.

With that said, Rams shouldn't be 11.5 point favorites versus anybody. I understand Jags are historically bad, but still.

well, bookies always seem to know something. I have learned over time that if someone is favored by 6 or more its usually a good idea to make that pick ( as far as the winner, not the spread )
 
-Zac Stacy is clearly the best RB on the roster. I'm not convinced he's a legitimate NFL starter based on 14 carries against the worst team in the league, but i'm convinced he should be getting the most carries on this team. Start Stacy, Richardson is your backup & change of pace guy, Cunningham is your #3. Pead should never play.

-Speaking of Pead, why was he even active? Rams dressed FIVE HB's, including Pead & Chase Reynolds. Reynolds plays special teams, so he is useful. Pead is the #4 HB, and played one snap by my unofficial count. I'm sure Reynolds or one of the other three HB's could have handled that extra one play worth of "workload". I'd rather see another actual football player dress rather than a fifth HB who you don't need.

-Say what you want about Bradford, who clearly will never live up to being a #1 overall pick, but he never turns the ball over and is clearly of starting caliber. The problem, is he is not a difference maker. He's the kind of guy who will need to be surrounded by a superior supporting cast to win big. This team is not a superior supporting cast. No RB's, WR's who cant get open, and the best WR, Givens, playing hurt. The offense looks prehistoric at times, and it's not all on the QB. He's pretty far down the list of issues, imo.

-As I type this, the Rams were just flagged on a special teams play again. And the game ended three hours ago. Disgusting. Have never seen anything like it in my life. So sick of it. FIX IT.
 
It's too bad, Bradford was having an excellent season, even with the horrid SF game.

Bradford really played well today. The picture perfect TD pass to Austin that didn't count, the picture perfect TD pass to Quick that was dropped, and the picture perfect deep ball to Quick on the 78 yard gain.

Quick also had them beat deep on the first play of the game, so who knows what happens if it isn't tipped.

One thing about Bradford, is he never turns the ball over. He doesn't fumble, throws very few picks, and a good number of the picks he does throw are tipped balls.

Really bad time to get injured, he was really on his way to a excellent season.

The Rams were probably going nowhere without Bradford, so they definitely aren't going anywhere with Kellen Clemens. Honestly it will be hard to get into the games with Clemens playing. It'd be nice if they at least had a late round pick to throw into the fire or something, so at least the games would be interesting from a player development angle.
