I saw 99 movies that were released in 2011. Some can be argued for 2010 or 2012, but I don't care - I make the rules. I'll start at 99 and countdown to #1. Maybe toss in some awards, who knows. I've seen (for the most part) all the movies I wanted to see from last year. Only one movie I am actually disappointed I missed out on - Margaret. Maybe one day I'll be able to see it.

I heard of it. I didn't really spark my interest. Never thought to add it to my list. I'm sure I'll see it one day, just not anytime soon.

Update - got super hammered and forgot to post. finishing my recovery now and then posting some of these.

One of the biggest pieces of trash in the history of cinema. Overly CGI, annoying characters, terrible characterization and acting, embarrassing villains, poor directing, I could go on forever, baby! Seriously, Ryan Reynolds - re-evaluate your career choices. Go back to being a sarcastic prick in shitty comedies, THANKS! Martin Campbell, Casino Royale must have been some sort of fluke, because all your movies are trash. Whoever did the CGI in this movie should probably kill themselves, too. Everything look unbelievably fake, even Ryan Reynolds abs. As terrible as the movie is, though, it'll certainly turn into a "so bad it's entertaining" type of drinking game movie a la Tokyo Drift or Goldmember.

Why does this movie even exist? What a piece of trash. This is the "generic thriller with unnecessary plot twists" of the year. Taken was the worst thing to happen to Liam Neeson's career, based solely on the fact that he'll probably make a ton more movies like this. Diane Kruger was hot and the only redeeming quality. I think January Jones is a robot.
Spoiler Alert - Bad guys die, everyone's in on it, even Neeson. The day is saved.

I tried to watch Green Lantern twice on cable.

The first time, I was in a hotel in the middle of Oklahoma with literally nothing to do. I had already eaten dinner, I had already masturbated, so the movie had my full attention. It still failed to hold my interest and I ended up channel flipping until I fell asleep.

The second time, I was home, it was like 2am, nothing else was on, and I gave it another go. Once again, it failed to hold my attention, and I threw in the towel and went to bed.

Sometimes when the entire world piles on to a bad movie, it really isnt all that bad. But Green Lantern lives up to the hype. It's horrendous and unwatchable.

I tried to watch Green Lantern twice on cable.

The first time, I was in a hotel in the middle of Oklahoma with literally nothing to do. I had already eaten dinner, I had already masturbated, so the movie had my full attention. It still failed to hold my interest and I ended up channel flipping until I fell asleep.

The second time, I was home, it was like 2am, nothing else was on, and I gave it another go. Once again, it failed to hold my attention, and I threw in the towel and went to bed.

Sometimes when the entire world piles on to a bad movie, it really isnt all that bad. But Green Lantern lives up to the hype. It's horrendous and unwatchable.

It was at the top of my "Do Not Watch List" but I was forced into it after foolishly going to hang out with one of my friends at his girl's mom's house.

I truly expected better and I was horribly disappointed. On paper, this should be a solid comedy. It was god awful. Danny McBride better apologize for this movie on his death bed.
