Are you really this ignorant? Lebron destroyed his image with how he's handled himself in this free agency fiasco. I guess I should say WWW and Maverick Carter really handled the destroying if I wanted to be correct.destroyed what image ? He is a great player in an entertainment business.
The only people who think his image is destroyed are simpleton sports fans who live in Ohio.
Cut the crap.Cleveland never made the best effort to get good players and coaches to surround him with. He is going to a proven winner with a Yoda type motivater in Riley.
Killa Pand summarized it best:
I don't think this is fair. LeBron's reluctance to ever commit long term made it hard to do things like build through the draft and make long term moves. Instead they went after a bunch of quick fixes like Jamison/Williams/Shaq. Also even though Mike Brown isn't a good coach, he came from a proven winner (the Spurs) and the Cavs were always a good defensive team.
I don't think they necessarily did the best job, but it was enough to build an annual championship contender. Don't know what else LeBron could really ask for.
The biggest winner in all of this was Kevin Durant. He went from being a local favorite and MVP candidate to all of a sudden being the kind of player that a lot of people want to see in the NBA: Works hard, loyal, is there for his younger teammates (he goes to all of the summer league games), etc.
