And the QB has nothing to do with wins? Aren't you pretty much comparing the teams including the QB's? Wouldn't one QB playing better than the other make the team better? Wouldn't that skew the take the QB's off the team theory you have?

Not if the team with more wins was better outside of the QB position, which in my opinion they are.

And when trying to evaluate QB's, and you're using the comparison of two teams to do that, then you have to take the QB's out of the equation when making the team comparison. Cause the QB actually influences how good the team is.

GB defeating NO 'in GB" by less than a TD with a drive ending goal line stand (if I remember the game correctly), can't really be considered "better". Would things have been different if the game was played in NO? GB didn't blow NO out. GB didn't win by a substantial amount. And it was played in GB.

I don't know which team is better right now. I'm just glad that if they do meet in the playoffs, it will be in GB. NO doesn't seem to be the same team on the road.

So then why is Brees required to throw 150 more passes than Rodgers? Perhaps because he does more for the Saints than Rodgers did for the Packers?

Perhaps the Saints aren't as good and needed more out of Brees to win 13 than the Packers did to get 14 W's from Rodgers?
