It is what it is. It isn't like Brees didn't throw for 400 yards in Lambeau or anything. Shit it's like Brees didn't spend half his career at Qualcomm stadium. Turning Antonio Gates into a star.

While Brees and his crew were out there throwing for meaningless yards and touchdowns in the 4th quarter, Rodgers and the elite starters were cracking jokes on the sidelines by the start of the fourth. Rodgers only needing three quarters to play a complete football game is a lot more valuable when you factor in avoiding injury and not wearing anyone out. This team has been on cruise control for the past two months and just about everyone will be healthy and ready to go come the first playoff game.

Brees: 505 ATT 370 COMP 4312 Yards 35 TDs 11 INTs

Rodgers: 404 ATT 276 COMP 3744 Yards 35 TDs 2 INTs

Thats without the 4th qtrs.

Another interesting stat. The saints rushing attack was a hell of a lot better then Green Bays. 35 yards a game better.

EDIT: I think the only thing QB wise that Rodgers had that was better than Breesus is INTs and Rating. Everything else favors Mr. Scarface

Yards per attempt is another one. That's a pretty significant one. Really, the only thing Brees had on Rodgers was 160 more attempts and a couple of percentage points. Which led to more passing yards. Rodgers really has everything else. If you really want to compare, you really need to use some statistical analysis and see what Brees's numbers would be with Rodgers number of attempts and or see what Rodgers numbers would be with Brees's number of attempts. You do that and it's not even close. It would be Rodgers hands down.

Who really cares about the brewers. I'll give you a little lesson about Wisconsin. It's mostly a football state. Yes we do love our Brewers, and we do love our Bucks, but we are madly in love with our Packers. Even the Badgers football team seems to have as good or better following than the Bucks or Brewers. So I say, so what about what the Brewers fans tried to say. Not at all important in a Packer convo.

I think it all suggests that Rodgers was better. The QB is a major part of a football team. As far as Brees's more attempts. It means Brees wasn't nearly as efficient as Rodgers who was better at getting games won earlier in the game.

Because Rodgers was more efficient and had games in control earlier than Brees. Sounds like Rodgers was better to me.

Whats odd about the two is the only real difference would be Rodgers would throw more TDs (maybe 3 or 4 more) and less INTs.

Who said head and shoulders? But he was more efficient. I believe Rodgers had no fumbles and I think Rodgers had nearly half the ints. Rodgers had a significantly higher yards per attempt which means he was completing more down field passes at a high percentage. Again, more efficient than Brees while completing a more difficult passes at a higher percentage.

To me, if Rodgers didn't have the kind of year he had, it would be an easy choice for Brees.
