It is about time for me to get in on SR3 action. One of my employees is selling it to me for $30, so I can't really pass that up. What I've heard is that its probably the best setting and world, but that the main story is very short. Anyway, I'm sure it is going to be a blast and definitely worth the money and time.

I haven't beat the story yet because every time i see the insurance missions or mayhem i have to do it.

I am up to about 12 grand an hour. Game is dope! 10 hours in and still havent completed act 2

You only really need to play SR2 if you want to know how the Saints became who they are in SR3.

Taking over Stilwater, acquiring majority stake in Ultor, having Pierce and Shaundi become your Lieutenants...

If there is a plus, it's that you can never get enough Johnny Gat.

I played SR2 but never finished it... I usually just dick around with my friends when I have this game

Can't say that using the "Gang Forgiveness" and "Police Forgiveness" Gang Abilities through your phone doesn't feel like cheating but...

Fuck it.

If the game lets me buy it and treats it as a non-cheat (i.e., I'm not punching in a code to fuck up my saves/trophies), I'm going to use them to 100% this game.

What's funny is that you don't need to complete the Chop Shop or Challenge lists to 100% SR3, but you do need to finish them to get a Platinum/get all the GP for the game. :ionno:

8 missions left.....crazy computer hacking mission later in game. I love the variety even though u mostly kill everything.

What's Gang Forgiveness by the way? Does it just keep rival gangs from attacking you?

The pink stars above your HUD count as a composite meter showing how pissed the rival gangs are at you.

Using Gang Forgiveness wipes that out but then you have to wait a long time to use it again.

The same for Police Forgiveness (wipes the Cop Shields).

The only shitty thing I can think of is that after you start Act 3, you can't really get away with anything as STAG will put up a condo inside your ass the minute you get one Cop Shield.

Those laser guns eat any vehicle you're in alive and all but ruin Chop Shop missions later on.

Beat this game tonite....took me 15 hours. I did very little side missions...pretty much ran straight through. Thoroughly enjoyed this game.....so many CRAZY, INSANE moments. I cant even say anything as I will spoil shit.

Just play this game.....so much cool shit.

There's definitely a lot stuff to do if you have a bad case of Gaming ADD...

All I wanted to do yesterday was steal vehicles for money (the last one being a STAG Condor... the middle of the park, surrounded by STAG, VTOL Jets and at least two N-Forcers was a nice touch. :rage: ) and play Prof. Genki S.E.R.C. missions.

Now I just need to set some time away to get all the collectibles and finished up the Challenges along with the Story Missions again.

Running around DDTing fools never got old. Finished this up last night. Was pretty good. Some crazy shit, but the side missions still suck.

STAG doesn't officially show up until after...

SPOILER'd for those who haven't played or aren't that far yet:

 

...Killbane blows up the Stilwater Memorial Bridge

...before that, the game just sics the National Guard on you with .50 Cal MG Humvees and 'Challenger' Tanks.

After the end mission(s), the game reverts back to this state.
