How much did he get sacked in the second half. How well did GB moved the ball actually playing a physical style of offense the second half. I was actually pleased and surprised by that. It showed me that GB isn't just a finesse team. They can play physical. I been worried about that. Feel better about it now.

The Packers shouldn't have been in that position in the first place, but that being said...

1) 8 sacks in the first half? My fucking God. Newhouse, you don't even deserve to put on a jersey. You are terrible.
2) If Jennings had just batted the ball over his head out of bounds, it's game over. He tried for the pick--which he got--but if he had deflected it out of bounds there would have been no controversy.
3) You have to score a touchdown to win games. One touchdown isn't gonna cut it.

I have absolutely no confidence that the regular officials make the correct call either. I do not have any faith the real officials make the correct call on a video review (they fuck that up all the time). It wasn't a clear play. Jenning jumped up and caught the ball, Tate slipped his hand between the ball and Jennings chest and was pulling on the ball. That IS dual possession. Then Jennings ripped it away and was clearly in possession, making it an interception. Live, at game speed, it is easy to think Tate had more control then he did. Could the replay official fix the call? Meh, tough to say it was indisputable. I personally would have, but it's not as cut and dry as some make it seem.

Lets be honest, there are phantom PI calls, phantom roughing the passer calls and phantom holding calls every week. None of this is new.

The biggest issue is the NFL rulebook, which somehow can't define a catch like any rational human being. It can't define any penalty in a rational manner. This has produced inconsistent officiating for years.

The #1 reason this is an issue is ESPN and co. stoking the fire every chance they get. Gruden made a complete ass of himself last night.

Went to the game Monday, just got back from Seattle this morning.. the experience was f'n incredible.. that stadium gets so damn loud. Final play of the game that has been hardly talked about smug obviously left a black cloud on the victory but it was a lot of fun.

Everyone in the stadium really had no idea what had happened, save for probably the ones in suites with a TV or the ones in the end zone.. I was wondering why the hell no replay of a Hail Mary catch was shown.. then when I got back to the hotel I quickly learned why.

Game was truly horribly officiated from the start though.. you could just feel the refs influencing the outcome of the game, and ultimately they did. Amazingly enough the Seahawks were actually on the good end of a ref screw job for once.

I would be cutting the guy a little bit of a break. He is a rookie. Wilson's not throwing the ball up for grabs, he actually throws the ball out of bounds. He doesn't seem to get rattled by being in the NFL or make those Rookie disasters than can kill games. Sure, he might need a good running game and defense cause he won't win games by himself. He's not ready for that yet. But he's been impressive that as a Rookie, he's not losing games for you. Protect him a little with play calling. But the guy is a pretty accurate passer and is athletic. I just have a feeling that he will end up being (at least) a good NFL QB.
