I do enjoy the fact that everyone is bashing brady to no end when it really wasn't his fault.

Just some points from yestardays game:

- Jets Defense played the run really well.
- Pats playcalling all game was very suspect. The fake punt and the 6 to 8min drive at the end of the game where even bellichek was screaming for pass plays.
- Pats pass D was no where to be found. The jets WRs and QB arn't exactly all stars here.
- Dion Branch needs to do less talking and more focusing on catching balls.

BTW:

Tom Brady 299yards 29/45 (65%) 2 TDs 1int

Jets defense all year were avg. only 200 yards allowed per game.

Because you can put up all the stats you want during the regular season but if you don't show up in the postseason it doesn't mean shit. See Matt Ryan, Romo, and Rodgers (pre this postseason).

Yes and no. When you claim that Brady is God in the playoffs when in truth he really isn't, he's going to get the bashing and deservedly so. I've been saying this forever: Brady is a solid quarterback, not the greatest of this generation.

Padded stats. He was at the 130ish mark in yards until the game got to two scores and the Jets D started to allow underneath passing routes. In the last two drives alone he added 80 yards and completed around 90% of his passes v prevent style d's with only 3 men rushing.

He had a below average game v a good D.

It is a stretch. You brought up 2 HOF QBs. My point was a HOF QB against a QB who has only been starting for 3 years. Right now I will take Brady. Ask me the same question in a year or 2 and maybe my answer changes.
