Best PLayer in that Division is not Kurt Warner it is Larry Fitz. Kurt Waner is the Best QB, but i bet even Marc Bulger could put up #'s close to him in that Offense. Not the numbers, but close just like he did when he replaced him in St.Louis..

AFC West is the worst Division in football and a team like AZ should walk away from their 6 games with victories for the next few yrs.

Warner has had a great career which this and last yr probably put him in the HOF. IF i had a vote I would put him in, but to say he is the only reason the cards are in 1st place it's stupid. Arizona is the the only decent/good team in that division. Seattle is aging fast, SF is still to young, and STL is one of the worst teams in FB. It's like saying hey Kelly Clarkson is hotter than Rosie, Amy whinehouse, and Starr Jones. YEah Kelly is hot when compared to them, but in all truth shes the girl you really don't think twice about if she's not..

We saw what Arizona would do without Warner in the lineup - they scored 0 points in the 2nd half against the stellar St. Louis Rams defense, and yes, they still had Larry Fitzgerald. Before Warner went down, they scored 21 points, with Warner throwing for 200+ yards, and incompleting a whopping two passes. Don't even get me started on Larry Fitzgerald.

good point... I really have nothing against Warner and I do think he is a really good QB. He will go down as the greatest QB for 2 franchises and not many people can say that. With that said he's never been the best player on his team in STl it was Faulk and with AZ it's Fitz.

Have you seen Arizona the last two games when Matt Leinart comes into the game? They become a completely different team.

Warner had to re enter a blowout two weeks ago because Leinart couldnt move the chains, and this week Warner had the Cards rolling to a blowout until he got hurt. The same offense that was scoring with ease couldnt get a first down, and the Rams had the ball with a chance to tie with a minute left.

Marc Bulger and Trent Green were Pro Bowl QB's when they stepped in for Warner. I dont know how you can hold that against Warner.

Why not? AZ defense rallied behind the fact that they had a great QB who gave them a chance to win a playoff game. The Cards D was below average last year, but somehow in the playoffs they transformed like Optimus Prime to defend Earth.

Show me a player in the playoffs who knows he has a Super Bowl winning QB on one side of the ball and I'll show you one hell of a motivated football player.

When Romo has a reputation for being a choke artist, it doesn't really inspire or rally the troops.

Warner is not just great, but his reputation leads one to hope.
