If GB won that game you wouldn't have had nearly as big of an issue. FFS, a week later the Packers almost got screwed out of the game against the Saints, via the actual refs. They won though so nothing was even mentioned of it.

You're an idiot. I was upset about a bogus roughing the passer penalty that took away an interception deep in Seattle's territory. I was upset over a bogus PI call on Shields when the WR was practically raping Shields. I could go on with much more that just that ONE PLAY AT THE END that had two bad calls on one play.

The Saints game was one bad call. Not a half dozen in less than ONE QUARTER. How many times does that have to be pounded into your head you idiot. But keep ignoring ALL THE OTHER BAD CALLS in the game and only focus on one to make your point. And you're calling me an idiot?

Fair enough, though not really relevant to anything. None of the teams the Steelers lost to will be in the playoff, and only 1 of the teams the Ravens beat will be in the playoffs. The Ravens won't be there.

Hey dipshit. Their were a lot of posters mentioning ALL THE BAD CALLS in the Seattle game. Most coming in a very short period of time in the fourth quarter. Plus their were numerous other HUGE blunders in other games. You see, I realize refs will make mistakes. You mentioning that the Dallas had a bad PI call doesn't count for the frequency of bad calls that happened in just the one quarter of the Packer/Seattle game, or any of the other games in the first 3 weeks of the Season.

You mentioning that regular refs make mistakes doesn't take into account the frequency of the mistakes made by the replacement refs. But you keep focusing on ONE PLAY. Stop being stupid.

Im taking the Steelers D doing better as a sign offenses haven't caught up to fresh personnel and the play calling differences. There tendencies are very different when Polumalu is out and adding guys who opposing teams have little film on helps.

They are an old defense especially upfront but they are enjoying some youthful play unexpectedly. The rest may wear down at the end of the year but for now they are on the field less and keeping teams uncomfortable. Thats going to help them in the long run. It would help a great deal to get some home games Casey Hampton plays like hes 75 in warm weather.

last year is not irrelevant to this year. It is part of the decline that is taking place.

It's completely irrelevant. Last year they hobbled into the playoffs injured on both sides of the ball.

This year they have started somewhat slow as they have a new offensive coordinater and they had been shuffling guys on defense.

Despite that they have lead every game in the 4th quarter. Now they have a solid group on defense as the young guys are acclimated and they have one of the top defenses in the league, and offensively have gotten it together and are running the ball extremely well.

They are getting better, not declining. They just completely dominated the defending champs in all facets of the game. Take away the 14 points that the refs gave the Giants and they scored 6 points. 182 yards of total offense. That was a whooping.
