I haven't done enough thinking about the matchups yet to make a prediction on the score. I think the Packers are a great football team, and I definitely think they could walk away with this one. I'll just never take anybody over the Steelers.

as far as the game is concerned; I am rooting for Packers of course ,but as good as their defense can be be. I'm a little worried that their so called " fast break"-passing game is very fragile and the Steelers could break that rhythm.

I don't agree. Steelers have a fast swarming defense, quick young WR's and one of the top deep threats in the league in Wallace. Mendenhall isn't slow, Big Ben can scramble and get outside the pocket to pick up first downs with his legs. Please explain to me how the Steelers are not build to play indoors?

I think experience matters a bit, sure there are going to be exceptions, but clutch big game experience is going to help the steelers. Also, if Pouncey plays, I think that helps our chances a ton. I think Steelers win by 2, 19-17

I think the steelers can play in all conditions. And remember that I don't watch a lot of steelers games, so some is just guess work, but I think GB is more built for domes than the steelers are with GB's passing game.
Ben makes plays and gets things done, but he can look pretty ugly doing it. And the steelers are a better running team than GB.
Rodgers, when given just an average amount of time in the pocket can be pure gold. He's smart. Can read defenses really well. Has a super quick release. He is excellent in the pocket, and for a guy as mobile as he is, makes most of his plays in the pocket. But next to Vick, I think he has the best legs at QB and the best at extending plays.
The two QB's are different. One can be REALLY pretty, the other can look pretty ugly. Both makes plays, and Ben has shown he can and does when it matters most, and both can extend plays. Ben has the experience.
Two excellent defenses. I think the NFL is very pleased to be able to market this match up (Steelers/Packers) over the next two weeks.

Fair assessment. Working from that point I'd have to say this.
Steelers Passing game good chance of working. Last time they met in '09 Big Ben had 503 passing yards and 3 TDs.
Packers running game poor chance of working.
It's hard to win games when you're one dimensional, and I think the Steelers are better than anybody at making teams one dimensional.
If I'm going to choose which defense is better, it's hands down every day of the week the Steelers defense. Steelers run D is on it's own level. Sacks/INTs/passing yards are pretty similar to the Pack.

Defensive backfield and DLineman are much better today than in 09. And GB was in there first year of the 3-4 with a bump and run corner in Harris. Gonna be MUCH different this time around.
I don't think there is as much separating the D's as you think. We will see.
Not saying the steeler's won't win or that they won't blow GB out, but I really am not expecting that. I guess that's why they play the game.
Anyway, it's nice conversing with a rational fan and not some trash talking homer. I have a lot of respect for the steeler organization. They've had top notch org for quite a while.
