Welp.. We got crushed by a much, much better team. Congrats to the Seahawks, you are no longer the AFC West doormats of my youth.

I'm going to say something to a couple Seattle loyalists who I've come to know in this little community over the years...

Dynasty talk is premature. I think quite a few of the Hawks most important players are either on peanuts or expiring contracts. It will be difficult to keep it together.

Also, SF next year is the team to put your money on! What chance that the season opener is SF @ SEA? 49ers would make a statement.

The depth they had is scary good though. They were missing Browner for the second half and the playoffs, and they didn't miss a beat. The guy would be a #1 corner on just about any other team, but is #2. His replacement filled in just fine. They have that depth everywhere on the team, their personnel department has succeeded in drafting. Extend the players who are necessary, but they have the players, coaches and front office to keep things going.

Which is why I mentioned personnel department and coaches. They've drafted a ridiculously deep team right now, and there isn't much out there that says they can't continue to do so. Plenty of teams like the Ravens, Pats and Steelers have consistently drafted well throughout the years and were able to replace some talent when it was time for them to leave.
