Bruschi's career was more meaningful and accomplished,he was relevant while he played. Thats better then not being relevant till after you are done playing.
you see, most you guys want to associate "hall of fame" with greatest of all time...sure, you have your Joe Montana's etc.
But in alot of cases it just means: Look, you didnt get any rewards while you were playing and you played on teams that sucked, so we might as well give you something now.
Emmitt Smith got alot of yards that lead to something, that meant SOMETHING. Ladanian , like Curtis Martin, just got alot of yards.
Tedy B. played 3 different linebacker positions and played in 22 playoff games = he is a more relevant individual in a team game.
