Tebow is the man. The heat this guy catches and he just brushes it off like it's nothing. I don't know too many people that can do that. He really is grounded in his faith and it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

My favorite part about him is even when they praise him for winning or being clutch, he mentions how football is just a game. And he just wants to be a positive role model for the future generations.

I remember after the NFL Network game, one of the most exciting moments probably in his career, he talked about a hospital he was helping and that the kids in that hospital meant a lot more than winning against the Jets. With all the pressure on performing and winning that comes with the NFL, he goes and says that right after a huge win. I really have a ton of respect for that.

I am admittedly a Tim Tebow fan. I am also an agnostic atheist.

His religious crap, while totally untrue to me, seems genuine to him. He believes what he says. I don't necessarily agree with him, but it's a democracy and he's free to spread his beliefs ... and he's not killing anyone with those beliefs.

What I'm saying is a lot of people seem to hate Tebow for his religious bullcrap.
I absolutely agree as a conventional QB he sucks, but that's not what makes Tebow, Tebow.

He kinda makes me believe in God. The guy is an absolute joke as a quarterback (and I say that as a huge fan of his), yet all the players in Denver love him, the coaches love him and built a system around him, and he's 5-1.

Vick and Dunn raped using this exclusively for week 1 and 2 of the 06 season, but for some reason Greg Knapp stopped using it after that (oh yeah, that reason is that Greg Knapp is a fucking horrendous offensive coordinator).
 
I like his faith thing he has going on, also it's not like he talks about God in the middle of the game.

You can easily enjoy the football game then avoid any Tebow interviews if it bothers you.
 
I really don't get people's beef with athletes acknowleging God. For many their faith is a part of who they believe they are and if they believe that faith is part of the reason as to why they're where they are than good for them.

At least Tebow isn't as bad as some who will try to tell you God is a fan of their team and willed them to victory.
