Regardless who wins this embarrassment of a game...Tebow is awful. He can't hit the broadside of a barn more than 10 yards down the field it seems.

Denver and him are entertaining as hell to watch, but he's really bad right now.

He had some really poor throws, but he also had 2 really bad drops by Thomas and 1 by Decker that were around 15-20+ down the field. The one to Thomas where he looks like he doesn't know what to do with his hands, and the one by Decker where he hits him square in the hands as he's sliding near the sidelines were both very bad. And the other Thomas drop on the deep ball was a tough play and a tiny bit ahead of him. Point being, they were all pretty good throws. He's progressing some as a passer. I'm more impressed by those throws than I am the check-downs vs. 2 impossibly deep safeties that won the game, but there's something to be said for both. He still has times where his mechanics break down and he makes a woefully bad throw. Fox did a nice job of showing one pass to Fells I think where he didn't set his feet and the ball sailed about 10 yards over his head and luckily over the safety's head also. And he gets happy-feet sometimes when he has plenty of time and acts like he's getting pressured anyway.

But overall, I think he's getting better. Versus, say, Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford or my own Josh Freeman. The guy still has a lot of room for improvement, but he's also a tireless worker who didn't have a real off-season. He's going to get quite a bit better, I'd wager.

This Tebow story just don't make no sense! It's almost like the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial when the maintenance man is pushing buttons to make the opposing team just play retarded. I don't understand how Tebow can absolutely suck for 3.5 quarters and in the closing minutes the team just puts everything together and wins the game.

They play the Patriots next......if the Golden Boy goes down to Tebow Time then something is seriously going on behind the scenes and I'm going to tell Jhen to investigate.

I still don't believe you can win playing like this, but they keep winning, so I just don't know what to think anymore.

I think it all boils down to one thing. In every one of these wins (at least from what I can recall), they have all been very close at the end, most super low scoring (except the Vikings game last week). The other team goes into prevent defense like fucking morons because they are scared of blowing the small lead that they have and in most cases probably won't get another chance to score. So of course prevent defense backfires because I'm pretty sure I could drive down the field against that shit. It really backfires when teams like the Bears let receivers make big catches AND get out of bounds.

I don't know about the other games because I really didn't watch a lot of them but I'm pretty certain that the Bears would've won this week if they would've just played the same defense to close out the game instead of play nancy pants "I'm scared of my own shadow" prevent defense.
