This Tebow story just don't make no sense! It's almost like the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial when the maintenance man is pushing buttons to make the opposing team just play retarded. I don't understand how Tebow can absolutely suck for 3.5 quarters and in the closing minutes the team just puts everything together and wins the game.

They play the Patriots next......if the Golden Boy goes down to Tebow Time then something is seriously going on behind the scenes and I'm going to tell Jhen to investigate.

I still don't believe you can win playing like this, but they keep winning, so I just don't know what to think anymore.

madden knows what the fuck is up.....in the first season i was finally up to the vikings-bronco's game and orton was still starting so i changed controllers to make tebow the starter

after doing that denver proceed to run the ball 49 times (32 with mcgahee and 17 with moreno) and tebow threw 3-9 with 120 yards and 2 tds.

no tebow magic in this fantasy realm as thankfully i was able to hold on to the win as they failed a 4th down that would have won them the game.

Does he realize that Tebow didn't lead a comeback by rushing for 49 whole yards? Urlacher really took that loss like a douche. Maybe he will learn sportsmanship sometime in January when he doesn't have to worry about football and can takes notes from a superior human being like Tebow. Yeah, basically I have to resort to Madden to see the Bears in the playoffs this year.

I will say that the Bears absolutely ate up the Denver running game and it's a shame that suffering a couple ill-timed injuries is going to cost that team a playoff spot because I think they are one of about three teams that could give Green Bay fits in the postseason.

With Pittsburgh or Baltimore as the Broncos likely first round opponent, I think Denver may have to go to the four and five wide out spread sets earlier than usual.

I still don't get why Tebow is consistently great in the fourth quarter.

I don't watch these games, so I'm curious what your opinion is on it since you're seeing it every week (I apologize if this was already in the thread).

Are they switching up how they call plays because it's late in the game? Does the defense really give up that much?

I just find it amazing that a guy can go 3-16 (John 3:16 lulz) for three quarters, and then 18-24 in the 4th and OT. I remember watching the Jets game: they seemed to run a lot more spread sets on that last drive and just let Tebow create plays.

Why not all game like that? :dunno:

As I've already said, it's because these stupid fucking teams play prevent at the end of the game and I could probably make a prevent defense look bad. Add Tebow's great scrambling ability and it's a recipe for disaster.

Mike Golic seems to be the only person on ESPN with sense, or the only one able to speak his mind, because yesterday he said "I guarnatee you that if the Bears played defense in teh fourth quarter like they had all game, instead of switching to the prevent to protect their small lead, we wouldn't be talking about another Tebow comeback right now. And unless the other teams in the NFL realize that they need to play the Broncos the same way throughout all four quarters this kind of thing is going to continue to happen."
