Wii has nothing on it? Doubt that...IMO neither MS or Sony will get much of the Wii's market.

Sony has their own motion technology through the eyetoy that is supposed to release well before Natal (Sony, spring 2010 MS holiday 2010) There is a comparison chart in the latest GI on both companies plans and they are extremely similar

And remember the thread about black people having motion detection issues while using Natal?

You made it sound like since the 360 won in terms of sales, it is obviously the better console. I quote:

Normally that is the case. But a lot of people posting in this thread in particular have all of the consoles. I'm included in that.

Some people think the 360 is superior but I disagree. And I sure don't think sales makes a better console. I definitely think the original Xbox was a far superior console last gen and the PS2 ate that thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The things that irk me are when people come into threads like these and say "The 360 is OBVIOUSLY the greatest, just look at the sales. It's so great, blah, blah, blah." If we were basing this on sales then obviously the Wii fucks the other two consoles in the ass.

The generation is far from over. After this PS3 price drop I'm really curious to see what happens. MS was forced to drop the price of the Elite 360 to match the PS3 but they also took out the HD cables that they have included since the beginning. Now the comparison even even a comparison at all. Plus they are increasing the price of the Arcade in some territories and completely removing the Pro SKU, probably in favor of a Natal bundle at the end of 2010.

But what do I know? I listen to gaming podcasts so I'm obviously a complete tool.:confused2:

I like how everyone thought the Blu-Ray player was such a huge deal too. I have 2 blu-ray players in my apartment, and neither cost me more than $20-$30.

MS may have 'beaten' PS this time around but its because of the games and nothing else. MS had games like Bioshock, halo, Mass effect, etc great 360 only games. throw in the fact that games like fallout were buggy on PS but worked fine on 360.

The PS losing the license of GTA was HUGE IMO. People love GTA and the FF13 one is also going to be huge.

I have a feeling though when God of War comes out thats going to be the game along with the lower price point that really starts pushing the PS. Also throw in FF13 which is always a huge seller maybe PS could overtake 360 in the sales dept.

But overall the 360 maybe the lesser system, their games absoultely crush the PS right now along with XBL arcade being betetr then PS store.

werd.....that is a huge perk to the wireless controller for the ps3. I dont even touch my wireless 360 controller because i get tired of burning thru batteries.

Sales wise we all know the wii killed it. But out of the 3 systems i have, the wii never gets touched. I bought it for my kids and even they dont play it.

In reality, the 360 and ps3 are very comparable systems. Each one offers something the other does not. Its all about preference to determine which system is best for you. But neither system is really better then the other when it comes down to gaming.


I just like rubbing ps3 fans noses in shit. That shit being people from all those MM discussions about how great the ps3 was gonna be. And how it was gonna destroy MS and all the exclusives and the powerful CPU and all that dumb ass fanboy bullshit we had to deal with for SOOOOOOOOO LONG.......like that psycho wolverines maniac....and deejay and all his BS....notice how he never pops in these discussions anymore

and here we are years later and the ps3 (in terms of sales) is only now getting past its little sister the ps2.......
