On the Friday show, during a six-man no DQ match with Absolute Andy & Bad Bones & D.J. Hyde vs. Masada & Mike Schwarz & Ivan Markov, it was a mess. Markov is a Russian who was supposedly recommended to the office by El Generico. Reports from those there live said he wasn't any good and screwed up most or all of his spots, including basic moves like a suplex or reversing a whip. He also had his girlfriend who was his valet with him and would ignore the match at times to sit on the apron and talk to her. At one pointed he landed a stiff knee or kick to the temple of Bad Bones and knocked him out. Bones later said he lost feeling in both of his legs for a short time and was motionless with his arms twitching. His left eye was swollen shut and his eye and temple were black and blue. Absolute Andy, who is one of Bones' best friends, started going after Markov hard way. Bones hit Markov with a cheese grater when he recovered and busted him up. Markov was bleeding all over the place and needed seven stitches in his chin that night at the hospital.
A German message board was critical of how Bones and Andy reacted, but the wXw office backed them saying Markov had been unprofessional all day vanished from the arena at Noon and only came back 10 minutes before his match, causing them to almost re-book the match. He reported spoke to nobody backstage and didn't go over the match. They also were critical of his girlfriend/valet for ignoring what was going on in the match. They claimed Andy beating on him was a preventative strike so he didn't hurt anyone else. Reportedly more took place backstage. In the office's latest statement, they said Generico never recommended him, even though earlier they said he did and there is apparently taped proof or at least was of that, and that people were critical of a soccer kick Andy gave him but usually pop for the same spot and praise how stiff everyone works.
Markov on a Russian site said he didn't expect the match to be as stiff as it was and thought the match was going to be called in the ring. He said nobody wanted to work with him and that Bad Bones had broken his nose on a worked spot and kept working stiff, so he worked stiff back, threw a knee and Bones went down. He said unless they edit the tape, people will see he was not at fault.
