Yawn.....not much of interest tonight. Mike Knox is the kind of wrestler who should be your second reveal after Devon, and not wait months to do it. Not excited about Sting at all, Hogan and Bully Ray is a terrible feud. For the first live Impact of the year, they sure put up a stinker.

I remember not seeing this until I watched HBK's last DVD. Wasn't paying any attention to the WWE at the time it happened, and for whatever reason just never stumbled upon it. Mind blown. Sometimes two great wrestlers get together and for one reason or another, it just doesn't click. But sometimes, this happens. Top 5/10 match of the post-2000 era. Angle's moonsault is one of the cleanest, best looking moves in wrestling.

/hasn't been seen on TV in like two and a half years.

I don't mind Aces and 8's as a faction group...I just hate the idea of it having a "higher power" like they were doing at the beginning...if its just Devon, D'Lo behind a mask as the "VP" and a group of thugs (Gallows, Mike Knox, Cliff Compton, etc)...I'm cool with that...

But if its going to be some group with a purpose of undermining Hulk Hogan and TNA with Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff "infiltrating" TNA's locker room and Eric Bischoff is the "President"...that's just fucking stupid and I have no time for it.

I've grown to hate the whole overarching "Wrestling Org v. _________" shit. Its just as bad as "GM v. _________" shit that the WWE does.

I just want a straight wrestling show with people working toward titles and guys having beef with one another. TNA was doing a pretty good job of that last year...but this Aces and 8's thing...I just get the feeling its the latter and it kind of ruins what good TNA has going on, which is a lot.
 
Also, I've said it a million times, but I'll say it again...

I just don't get Jeff Hardy.

Much like W2B doesn't get Cannonball Sami, I just don't get Jeff Hardy. I have no idea how or why he is considered a star. I just don't relate him to being that level of a talent. I don't know why, I just don't. I don't get his fanbase. Its like I'm on crazy pills when people pop for Jeff Hardy. I know in TNA there is a correlation to some higher buyrates. I dunno...but I just don't get Jeff Hardy. Any match Hardy is in that gets rave reviews or is good, I don't consider him the reason for it.

I dunno, maybe its just me...but he's one of the few guys of the past decade that I just don't get. By all means, someone can explain it to me if ya'll like.

I knew in 2003 because I would go to shows or watch TV and see teenage girls going crazy.

I knew in 2008 because WWE still has young fans and young people are very much into Hardy.

I don't understand his appeal in TNA, which skews a little older in terms of fan base. You hardly ever see kids or teenage girls at the Impact Zone, and besides, those teenage girls who used to like him are adults now who I doubt are keeping up with wrestling at all, let alone TNA, which even many people who follow wrestling don't realize exist.

Yet, PPV's with Hardy on top average 4,000 more buys. WHO ARE THESE 4,000 PEOPLE? Who jumps out of their seat and says, 'well shit, JEFF HARDY is the main event? grab the phone hun, i'm ordering HARDCORE JUSTICE.'

I don't get it either.
