TNA's first hour was unwatchable.

I can't imagine them grabbing anyone in that hour.

Your first match was an X-Division match in a cage...and it sucked.

Should have gone clean and simple...put guys like Joe and Daniels and let'em go for a bit. Guys have good chemistry in the ring and would have put on a good match...the Angle/Styles match was solid...you needed something like that at the beginning.

In the end, it was basically TNA throwing all of these cameos out there and hoping to attract people with it...a few cameos and a surprise appearance for run ins is ok...but they over did it, especially with some irrelevant wrestlers...the Nastys? Orlando Jordan? Terrible.

Wow @ the ending of Raw.. cant believe Bret agreed to that for his return.

I agree. I thought that ending sucked.

Overall, other than Bret Hart himself, that RAW really did nothing for me (ok, maybe Maryse, but she's my favourite wrestler).

I think that ending actually hurt this comeback a little, don't you Kuzzy?

It just didn't feel right.

I agree with Fedex...if they woulda ended on clean slate nobody would expect Hart back next week, so they end it like that and now you know Bret will be back looking to get some payback.

The WWE wants to draw this out to Wrestlemania.

If they're smart, they'll have Hart face Hornswoggle at the Royal Rumble in a tuneup match.

Gotta say and it looks like I am in the minority here but I love what TNA is doing. Wrestling needs some personality bad and guys like Joe do nothing for me....Ill take the bad guy over him any day...here hoping he shows up and lays off the booze....

WCW vs WWE/F back when the NWO was going on were some of the best wrestling shows and gimmicks ever.

I like it and hope it plays out like I think its going to.

I watched TNA last night and I agree, too many cameo appearances by washed up WWE guys. You're really not convincing everyone that you are the #1 wrestling organization if you have to rely on guys who were fired by the competition

The problem is...its already been done...the nWo reunions and rehashes have been done...hell, TNA did a spin off with the MEM (more of a Millionaires Club, but regardless)...

Wrestling needs new and fresh, not old, geriatric, and twice done.

Exactly. If I want to watch NWO stuff, I'll go watch old WCW. I'm not interested in seeing it reshashed three quarters of the way a decade and a half later. Hanging onto what worked in 1996 is not moving forward, not as a business or as a promotion. The MEM already ran for over a year, dominated the promotion, had no payoff, and built no new stars.

Samoa Joe might not have the most personality, but he is a credible monster big man and he can outright go in the ring. Isn't that what TNA is supposed to be about - in-ring action?

Plus they have talent like Nigel McGuiness/Desmond Wolfe, who is not only damned good in the ring but has a ton of personality. And they showcase that last night jobbing him to a midcarder after trying to build him to a main eventer. Awesome move.

Its supposed be moving forward, TNA, not backward.

I also can't see Joe as the kind of guy a Hogan and Bischoff would push hard. Joe has been pushed as an equal to Kurt Angle and a top guy in the company, but there was never a true payoff and push and at this point, Joe is blah.

Lots of bad finishes, which is vintage WCW. Roll ups, run ins, Homicide getting stuck at the top of the cage :laugh:

The biggest thing that WCW suffered from in terms of creative, was never being able to get past the nWo. They could never get past it. It is what got them to the dance, but damn...at some point, you have to move on.

9 years later...they still haven't.

Biggest day for TNA ever...and what do they do...re-hash nWo junk.

Styles over Angle went a long way in saying that TNA is about their young talent. Although a bunch former WWE wrestlers all over the place clashed with that message. However the Val Venis at the end was FTW

went to the grand jury yesterday in Moore County of North Carolina. According to a spokesperson with the Moore County Court, the grand jury found that there was enough evidence in indicting Hardy and the case has been sent to Superior Court. Hardy’s case will be officially set on their docket within the next week. Hardy was set for a probable cause hearing on 1/27 in regard to his September 2009 drug arrest. That hearing would have determined whether there was enough evidence regarding the arrest to go on the grand jury, but is not a hearing that is absolutely required. It appears that prosecutors opted to forgo that hearing and go right to the grand jury in order to move the case along. Hardy was arrested on 9/11/09 on the following charges:

- Felony possession of cocaine.
- Felony drug trafficking of opium
- Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).
- Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

I thought it was actually one of the better Raws in quite some time.

Good match and angle with Orton and Legacy.

Pretty good promos throughout. The Miz continues to be a good talker.

Generic, crappy DX stuff, but I got over it.

Its kinda hard for me to buy into the miz because ive seen him on MTV Challenges and stuff. But he's got a belt on him so he must be doing something right

TNA was pretty sweet (outside of the botched ending to the x-division match)

I like all the callbacks
-Foley going up to Venis asking about Bischoff (since Venis used to be bischoff's assitant)
-Sting in the rafters stalking Hogan
-OJ going to Burke first thing.
-Flair watching

And I like how they're putting younger guys over, Hogan giving AJ the giant rub at the end, AJ pinning Angle clean. Pope getting a victory over Wolfe (was actually surprised they allowed that). Joe/Abyss match. AJ/Angle's match was a great match that lasted about 15-20 minutes on TV that was PPV quality, easily.

I hope this leads to Homicide getting a fued/singles push and more towards his crazy ROH character-ways and less previous TNA way.

Sean Waltman looked really good/healthy, curious to see how he can still do in the ring (hopefully x-division) since apparently he's been wrestling in mexico. Scott Hall made me mark with the Hey Yo!, he'd be a great manager/mouthpiece.

The Nasty Boys actually didn't make me throwup everywhere like I expected and actually entertained with their backstage scene.
I love Val Venis, one of the most criminally under-utilized wrestlers ever, glad to see him back.

Not sure how I feel about OJ though, I didn't like him in the WWE.

I like the heel direction that Krystal is having Lashley head. If she remains his mouthpiece he'll achieve much more.

Disappointed B.Money didn't get to wrestle, but at least there's some intrigue to find out who the masked man/backstage attackers are. (Kennedy/Tomko?)

Bischoff on tv is money he's such a great talker, liked all his segments.

Can't wait to see some solid matches with Hardy like Hardy vs. Angle/AJ/Daniels/etc etc

I'm also glad they didn't just blow their load in this show and kept/saved some stuff (Angelina Love return, RVD, reveal attackers, Flair's involvement, etc) to keep interest for the future shows. Plus leaving it on a "cliffhanger" of what Hogan's going to do as he seemed to be disappointed/disgusted by what Nash/Hall/Pac were doing at the end.

Last night's edition of TNA Impact drew a 1.50 rating and averaged 2.20 million viewers over the course of three hours to be TNA's most-watched Impact episode ever.

Impact peaked with 2.90 million viewers for the 9:00 to 9:15 p.m. EST quarter-hour with Hulk Hogan's debut opposite WWE Raw opening with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.

TNA's previous high rating was a 1.33 rating and 1.97 million viewers on the April 2 Impact prior to WWE's WrestleMania weekend.

Monday's live three-hour TNA Impact featuring the debut of Hulk Hogan delivered a first hour 1.69 rating and 2.5 million viewers to be the most-watched hour of TNA Impact in company history.

The second hour slipped to a 1.44 rating, but featured the most-watched 15 minutes in company history with a 1.88 quarter-hour rating for Hulk Hogan's debut at 9:00 p.m. EST opposite WWE Raw's Bret Hart return.

The second hour also featured the least-watched segment of the show with a 1.16 quarter-hour rating at the end of the hour (featuring Pope vs. Desmond Wolfe and an A.J. Styles interview) opposite WWE Raw's DX vs. Chris Jericho & Big Show tag title match.

The third hour declined to a 1.22 rating. The range of quarter-hour ratings was between 1.17 and 1.30, with the hour peaking in the final 15 minutes with a 1.30 rating for the end of the Kurt Angle vs. A.J. Styles match and Hulk Hogan watching the NWO beat down Mick Foley.

Monday's edition of WWE Raw featuring Bret Hart's return averaged 5.60 million viewers, which was the largest viewing audience since the August 24 Raw the night after Summerslam.

The show drew a very strong rating among males 18-49, drawing a 3.37 rating in the key demo. That was the highest M18-49 rating since the commercial-free Raw on June 22 averaged a 3.71 rating.

Other than the commercial-free Raw, the last time Raw drew a M18-49 demo rating greater than last night's Raw was the April 6 Raw the night after WrestleMania 26.

TNA will always be the same second rate copycat company they have been for years, until they stop comparing themselves with the "company up north" and give up the inferiority complex.

Telling viewers "soon we'll be #1" is the same as telling them "hey, we arent #1".

The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over yet expecting different results. TNA sucks.
