They just had three straight pay per views with false finishes. They get a full crowd pop three times for Bryan winning the title. When he finally really wins it...I fear its lost its luster. He'll still get a huge pop, but it won't be the same like he got at SummerSlam where it was truly a monster pop.

Also, Triple H is the dirt worst...how many dudes has he run down in this COO role already? Nothing turns me off more than when you got these guys who are authority figures running down talent saying they aren't really good. Way to sell the product.

Yup, yesterday was too much to me. Took it too far (as usual, that's nothing new) but basically degraded Bryan to the point where even if he does win it, he's already likened to Jericho/RVD who HHH conveniently also said were never "the man". It's nothing. He wins, it won't matter, fans may like it in the crowd but the writing is on the wall on how they'll push him.

There's a way to say you don't want him to be champion while not making him a lesser guy, but TRIPS just can't do that.

I believe in his path of destruction this go-around: Bryan, Ziggler, Miz, Truth, RVD, Jericho... feel free to add anyone I missed.

If that's how they want to play things, and have Danielson take the title eventually, he never should have beaten Cena. They should have had the two beat the crap out of each other, called the match on a 10 count, then have Orton cash in. But then they couldn't do the "best for business" angle.

Doing it this way, they should have Danielson retaining against all odds, not chasing.

I stated from the beginning I was cool with the chase if it was done well. I was fine with them taking the title away from them because he was a threat and not their model citizen but rightfully the best damn wrestler in the world.

Instead, he's not their model champion, he's short and he'll never be "the man". Completely not the way to do it. Vince NEVER said Austin wasn't a good wrestler or the man, he just didn't want a beer-drinking, swearing guy as his champion. Apples and oranges but I shouldn't be surprised. It's Triple H on screen and he can't be bothered to try to enhance his product if it means he may take a few licks.

SummerSlam didn't do great business. Numbers haven't come out, but Night of Champions and Battleground are expected to have underwhelming buys. They've now stacked the deck for the Hell in a Cell PPV. Bringing back Cena early, Michaels involved...if the event doesn't do well, they'll blame Bryan...but they should blame themselves. Terrible booking, plus terrible sell of Bryan as the top guy is what makes shit like that happen.

Anytime anyone mentions Jericho on TV or on Twitter, he responds...schtick or not, he always does. Its not the first time Triple H has mentioned him in the same vein and Jericho responded in kind.

I feel so bad for this guy. He seems like the nicest man on twitter. He's busting his as to learn english, and it's a total waste of time because they are never going to do a thing with him.

With New Japan being hot, it wouldn't be the worst thing for him to get cut. The clock is ticking, the guy is 36 years old.

That reminded me of a story many years ago involving Umaga and a WWE wrestler whose name I may or may not have forgotten. "He said if he could pick a dream match, it would be a singles match with Michaels at Mania this year, but he doesn’t have any idea if that’s possible and doesn’t think Michaels will ever wrestle again. He noted that DiBiase used to joke with him how he wrestled Michaels tons of times while Bryan never had one match with him. He said when he was training with Michaels, that when Michaels had his back surgery and his career was thought to be over, he would take the same backdrops he did during his career while teaching classes until his mother walked into the gym and saw him doing it, and yelled at him in front of everyone. He said Michaels never did it again after that. When asked what wrestler most deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, he said Ultimate Warrior. A funny part of that is the guy who asked him was dressed like Randy Savage, and got all sad, so maybe he was joking around. When asked about the difference in wrestling in WWE and ROH, he said in ROH you can do spots and do stories from those spots in the next match and people would know what it’s all about while with WWE it doesn’t work as well. When asked who the best worker he was ever in the ring with was, he said Yuji Nagata. When asked his favorite opponents, he said Nigel McGuinness, Regal, Punk, Sheamus, KENTA and The Shield. He credited The Shield with helping him get over to the level he’s gotten this year. He said his favorite traveling partner is Cesaro, because both live a G-rated life and have similar senses of humor. He said an example of Cesaro’s sense of humor is saying, “You know why I like camping? Because it’s in tents.” He said the show Total Divas is borderline misery and noted that he and Brie Bella have a French bulldog that constantly is biting the crew. He also told a funny story about when he was wrestling in Memphis and Jim Neidhart was hired as a coach (if you’re wondering why anyone would hire Jim Neidhart of all people to coach young wrestlers, it was because Owen Hart had died and WWF was trying to give jobs to Hart family members because they were in a lawsuit against Martha Hart), he called the promoter and said, “How the hell am I supposed to get to the show tonight when there’s a God damned river in the way?” And the promoter said, “Well, Jim, there’s a bridge.”

Talking about Tatsu on another board, somebody posted this from 8/2012:

Yoshi Tatsu frustrated in WWE?
In a recent blog attributed to WWE wrestler Yoshi Tatsu published in Japan, Tatsu expresses frustration with recent events in WWE, his lack of upward mobility on the WWE roster, and feeling helpless wanting to help his home country of Japan following the March 2011 earthquake that devastated parts of the country. The blog written in Japanese is titled "10 Issues" and dives into Yoshi's feelings that he came to WWE to grow as a wrestler, but has been held back.

Yoshi also focuses on requesting to be on last year's Raw tour to Japan to aid in earthquake relief, but not being allowed to travel due to being part of the Smackdown brand. Yoshi, who is advertised for next month's Smackdown tour that includes two shows in Japan, also says he was disallowed from appearing on the "All Together" shows in Japan that raised funds for earthquake relief. Yoshi says in the blog that he does not want to be critical of WWE or his time with the company, but he needed to pour out his feelings.

I can see not wanting him to work the All Together Now shows because that was not a WWE event, but why on earth would they not allow the guy to go on that RAW tour? That's pretty despicable.

He will always be back until VKM decides not to pay him. We get great RAW matches, and they get a guy who has no issue putting people over, even if they made some poor choices recently and it didn't really work out. There really is no reason for them not to bring him back unless he really pisses off VKM or H's.

The Observer has been very depressing to read the past few weeks. Essentially Vinny Mac has gone batshit insane again and as we discussed most times it doesn't matter and people just ignore it but the whole portion about his essentially re-writting and hot shotting angles leading into HIAC says otherwise.

The thing about Zayn is ridiculous, absolutely fucking stupid. The same theory that these guys can't acknowledge the crowd when they walk to the ring or during promos. How fucking stupid?
