The General Wrestling Thread

Orton goes back to his bag of tricks and uses a pair of handcuffs to try and beat Cena again.

The video package guys were practically holding big blinking red signs over the Chekov's Gun that was the I Quit Match Cena and Orton had a while back...

The same one that Orton used cuffs on Cena...

...only this time, it worked.

What made it better was the call back to Cena unfastening the turnbuckle to get at Orton like he did when he fought Umaga (RIP) a while back.

Used the same set of headshots as well.

...only this time, Cena eventually failed and got to watch as Orton became the new "Champion of Champions."

It was like watching a Super Bowl loser having to sit there while the winning team celebrated in front of them. :yao:
 
I cant believe they gave the belts to orton. Unreal. Cena, like him or not lives and dies for that company. Orton has been handed everything to him. I still remember reading the story where Orton was trashing hotel rooms and the writer of the article said how he is spoiled brat and nothing will happen.

WWE just flat out sucks ass anymore. Sad thing is my 7 year old is really getting into it now and Im kinda forced to watch it with him

That was the last thing that was wrong with the match. The whole thing, just bad. Who cares who won...it was just a bad, poorly put together and executed match.

Randy Orton, when given the ball to do anything of significance is just so bad. No one gives a shit about him. I thought maybe, just maybe, he found his "spot" on the card as that upper mid-card heel that is a gate keeper or sorts to the top of the card. When he was working with Christian and Bryan, he found a groove. Working with better talents on the B-show.

Then they elevated him to the main event...again...and he is once again, terrible. Not a single good match and here we are, once again, no one giving a shit.

Randy Orton watches Toru Yano tapes.

Match was ok, but finish was flat. Take away the Yano handcuff spot and it was totally forgettable.

PPV was a solid RAW.
 
Orton is the worst seller in the WWE, gets hit with a ladder, goes through a table and then jumps to his feet and stops Cena from grabbing the belts. WTF
