I don't really get where they're going with The Rock-Cena thing.
While Cena may not be my favourite sports entertainer, the guy sells a ton of merchandise and has his fanbase.
I don't get how The Rock destroying his character helps the WWE.
After Wrestlemania, The Rock is gone and Cena is still there.
The only thing I can think of is The Rock vs. Cena at WM27 ... a great match and The Rock giving Cena some respect. But I highly doubt he would be allowed to work a match by Disney.
Frankly, I half expected The Rock to say he wanted to break The Undertaker's streak.
Again, I have no clue where they're going with this Cena thing ... though I suspect my guess of him and The Rock having some sort of confrontation at WM27 and The Rock walking away giving his thumb's up to Cena might be right.

Well that's an unarguable truth.
For the most part, most of the guys are given the same script from the same shitty writers. Some guys can make it work (Punk) while some (Cena) make it almost painful to watch.
No doubt, Rock was allowed to do his own thing with bullet points given to him.

Why bring a guy on board to do what The Rock did in one night - kill two of the WWE's biggest stars?
It just doesn't make sense.
I'm neither a Cena or Miz guy, but no one can deny the WWE has spent a lot of money making these two guys the top of the show.
Why have The Rock come in and attempt to destroy that? It just doesn't make sense.

Not being scripted certainly helps. But I don't think anyone else manages to project charisma, intensity, and manipulate the crowd as well, all at the same time. Few in the business ever have, to be honest, but still... It really reinforces that the WWE limits their own talent on the mic so much now.

Although I'm not gonna lie, I can see how some peeps would think he gave off mixed signals whether he was staying after Mania or not. But I honestly don't see that happening, he'll prob stick around for the Road to Wrestlemania though.
