You don't see him at that level because they never push him as anything more than a mid carder.
He's arguably the best promo on the roster, carries himself like a star, and can work circles around most of the roster, too.
If they gave him the ball, he'd get over with ease. Matt Hardy is a weirdo who can't talk and ended up bald & fat before he was 30.

To be fair, they missed the boat a little with Hardy, too...that Edge feud could have put his crazy, weirdo ass over like crazy and he could have lost the feud.
Both Hardy's were always over with the GenPop.
As for Christian...they've dropped the ball with him a few times, its nothing new. They just don't see him as a main eventer, even though, he could be. One of the best promos and he is a strong WWE style worker.
Whatever, I got over it when they basically told him to fuck himself after they botched a potential Cena feud and he went off to TNA. He could have been there perma #1 guy, but he chosed to be a WWE curtain jerker...whatcha gonna do?

I don't agree that Matt Hardy wasn't over with the fans. Not a good comparison between him and Christian if being over is what you are basing it on.

Matt Hardy just has the Hardy card working for him. Jeff could never talk a lick, but made up for it by doing ridiculous spots. Matt had equally poor mic skills, and was only a slightly above average worker, but made up for it by being Jeff Hardy's brother...
