No, I haven't. Been doing a shit job of keeping up with the current puro watching - a bit of Noah and a bit of New Japan, even an occassional BJW, but no All Japan.

I think I saw a bit of his early stuff with the belt but nothing recent. Not a huge Suwama fan but don't dislike either. He can't possibly be worse than Hama with the Triple Crown. He's got 5th longest reign for All Japan, too... so I guess he probably can't be doing too poorly with it..

Then, in an act that may turn the corner on the entire SmackDown brand, Henry rose to his feet, shoved away any help and walked to the back on his own power; proclaiming that he did not need the help and he was the champion.

Basically the same gimmick, but something seems 'off' about him though. Clearly they told him to slow it down a bit, but you knew he was going to get WWE-ized.

Fans knew who he was, they wanted him to do the "Hey!" gimmick and he kinda did, and people screamed "Riiiicolaaaa" as he set up the Ricola Bomb.

I like smarmy, uppity euro "very european" Claudio better than tough guy euro shooter Claudio, but it's close enough. Could be much worse.
