Matt Bloom, who was New Japan's top foreign star as Giant Bernard, and had formerly wrestled as Prince Albert and A-Train in WWE, is scheduled to return to the promotion after WrestleMania.

The idea given was for him to be the henchman for John Laurinaitis.

Giant Bernard has signed with the WWE.

As somebody who prefers New Japan, and can take him or leave him as a performer, i'm glad to see him go.

He's gotten much better since his run as A-Train. He can be an effective monster if they book him right.

Honestly, I kind of dig him in New Japan in tag action...he'll be Johnny Ace's hired muscle for a few months and then go back to jobbing to Evan Bourne. Then future endeavored and back to Japan.

He's making the most of the name change, and looks pretty confident. His gimmick (aside from the KO stuff that he carried over) seems to be that he's above being in FCW and will be in the WWE soon. Let's see how confident he is if they keep him down there for a year like some of these other guys.
