While the fight is in quotations, the match in question did what it had to do:

Lesnar gets over while showing everyone that he isn't infalliable (Cena beat him but nobody cares about that match now).

Triple H gets his sendoff (if this is his last match) and even got sympathy heat for it.

We now have to wonder what happens next with Lesnar because he's beat the fuck out of the Big Two in the company without a belt around their waist.

Maybe have him fight Punk?

However, since things didn't exactly go as he might have planned, I think they could use the outcome of the match, or more specifically the way the fans treated Triple H afterwards, as fuel for a potential heel turn. He can do the old "I gave you people my heart and soul and you spat in my face" routine, and could probably get some good heat from it.

I only saw the main event and there was nothing worth going out of your way to check it out.

However, since things didn't exactly go as he might have planned, I think they could use the outcome of the match, or more specifically the way the fans treated Triple H afterwards, as fuel for a potential heel turn. I don't know. I could see something like that start to happen, and Vince comes out and removes him as COO to give him time to "reevaluate" how he proceeds from here.

Following a month or so, expect H's to come out guns blazing, take a full schedule for a couple months and win the WWE title one last time.

No way this late in the game does he do a prolonged heel turn, but that could be a good move to start if they do the direction I am thinking. But no way was I expecting that ending.

And I'll be honest about this entire show. It started great, but got worse as it went on. Loved that we are finally moving on from Santino as US Champion, and Jericho/Ziggler was a great match. Even with Y2J going on tour with Fozzy and likely out of things for half a year, I am surprised they had him win.

No, just wait until individual segments get put onto YouTube. I wouldn't worry about anything past the halfway point, especially since the 3 hour Raw tomorrow will beat all of the story lines into the ground.

One other thing I want to mention, loved the Kobe Bryant chants during the tag championship match.

Following CM Punk's title retention at SummerSlam last night, it's being reported that a rematch between The Rock and John Cena will most certainly take place, and Vince McMahon has been pushing for the bout to take place at WrestleMania 29.

The feeling is that while the WrestleMania 28 match was billed as "Once in a Lifetime," it generated so many PPV buys that there is still money to be made off of Cena vs Rock

I really hope Cena blows his knee out.

I don't see how there's any luster left for a rematch (although it's obvious they're heading that way). Cena's over-the-top bullshit promos in the final weeks before WM this year (if I don't win, I'm fucked.....I MUST WIN!) were ridiculous. They looked even worse when after losing, he comes out the next night his 'ol jovial self.

Besides, Cena beating Rock to win the title will go over in Jersey as well as a fart in church.

I am of the belief that it doesn't really matter what you put on WrestleMania. There are some matchups that can draw a few thousand buys extra, but for the most part the show is going to sell out, and do a million plus on PPV no matter what, because 'WrestleMania' is the draw.

Cena vs Rock II is fine if that's what they plan to do. I don't like going back on the "once in a lifetime" stip, but we are long past the days of the WWE honoring stips so I don't think their fanbase cares or pays attention anyway, so it's not really a big deal. Cena needs his win back, but then again, not sure that kind of stuff matters in 2012 with the 'once it's happened, we don't care about it or remember it happened' WWE menality.

Like I said on the podcast, if healthy enough to work, they would be foolish to not do Brock vs Undertaker.

Both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship bouts were shortened due to time constraints because the production team wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar bout since The Game’s farewell scene will play a vital role in storylines going forward.
