I still want to get into wrestling. My buddies just had me watch all of Wrestlemania 6 and 7 on Youtube

Look up anything from 2005-up from Ring of Honor online.

You get some of the best indie stuff from some of the bigger stars going on TV today...

CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries...; The list goes on and on and it's all good wrestling.

And that's just the American stuff over here... hit up Warner, FedEx and Larry if you want to talk about the magic that is Japanese Puroresu.

They had to tape those shows to fulfill international PPV commitments.

The budget cuts have nothing to do with the One Night Only tapings. They shot 8 PPV's in like 2 or 3 days, that actually saved money. If Dixie said that, and I have my doubts and think this report is misphrased, she is full of shit.

The reason TNA is in a hole right now is the $60,000 it costs them per Impact taping. The writing was on the wall when they quickly stopped going live every week and switched to shooting two shows at once twice per month.

Going on the road has been a bust. Everybody agrees they needed to leave the Impact Zone, but they miscalculated when they were ready. They weren't.

I think going on the road has added to atmosphere of TNA's Impacts...but it has yet to yield any kind of plus for their product.

I was thinking, it would be wise if they could tape all four episodes of a month's worth of Impact in one taping. It would help a bunch with cohesion of their storylines.

Another shit thing I've noticed them doing...when they have Gut Check...they bring the Gut Check back for a second date...why are they taking on that extra cost. Only a few hundred bucks + travel, I'm sure, but silly and unnecessary.

Moreso for the people at home watching the collective awesome that's in that ring on FREE TV at the moment.

People had to buy DVDs or pay a ticket to see this stuff live, without the benefit of a national network broadcasting it a few years ago...

Now, it's just... handed out. :smh:

If Heyman had his way, you'd have to pay for the PPV to watch this stuff right now.

They just spent a month of him vs Jericho to build him back up, so then right off that they put him up against Danielson.......it just doesn't make sense.

I loved the "you can't wrestle" chants as well.

They have not done all of the Gut Checks in one night. They latest one wth the Big O, I'm certain was done over two tapings. And I'm certain they did it with a few others. Maybe the Adam Pearce one, because they did the "selection" during the live episode, not the taped one.

Perhaps doing a big taping on a WEEKEND would be better and not burn a crowd out. Maybe less matches and make them longer. Use the workhorses more.

NXT tapings are about five hours and the crowd never seems burned out by Episode 4.

The Impact Zone is such a floppy dick...I'd rather they go back and try the Asylum or something or try something new if they rent a building out.

Other than Cena making it about him again at the end of the show, the good people of the Uni. of Texas got to see Danielson and Castagnoli put on a clinic and that was worth wading through the crap tonight.

The crowd was shit the whole night through until Danielson came out and got them rockin' in their seats and THAT's why he should be WWE Champ.
