It's just very physical. Stiff.

But the biggest difference, is if these guys were in WWE they would have surgery and be given time off. In Japan, you work through injury unless it's impossible to do so. The mentality is with the touring system, you get a few weeks on, a few weeks off, and you are expected to work the tours and do one or two really hard physical matches per tour unless you are seriously injured. Even then, if you blow out a knee or something, you are expected to finish the tour before you get surgery. This happened to Tetsuya Naito last year. He tore an ACL and worked all of his advertised dates before he got it taken care of and took time off to rehab.

The WWE fan who attacked Randy Orton in the ring at Tuesday night's WWE Live Event from Cape Town, South Africa is 20-year-old pro wrestler Tshepo Sekhabi, known in the ring as "Jozi the Wrestling Machine."

In an interview with South African news website ENCA.com, Sekhabi claims he quit his job in order to attend the event. The attack was premeditated - and he ended up with a black eye and a swollen face as a result of Randy Orton kicking him in the face as he was being pulled from the ring by security.

As for why he decided to jump the security gate, hit the ring and low blow Randy Orton, he told ENCA:

"I just don’t like Randy Orton, this was an opportunity for me so I got up there and made a name for myself.”

Contrary to previous reports, Sekhabi was not "formally" arrested but was given a five year ban from the casino resort where the WWE event was being held.

WWE was contacted about whether Randy Orton would apologize for kicking the fan in the face. They issued a statement, saying:

"Randy Orton was the victim in this incident and suffered an injured groin."

So two TNA live events (I guess over the weekend) ended up with combined attendance of 2500. The Wednesday morning walk-through practice with bad weather for the Redskins had over 2600 people.
 
That's actually a respectable number for them. Look back a couple of pages and see that picture for the show they did in Missouri where guys failed to get their license. Awful attendance.

I just posted that for a little "lulz" but I get the point. For house shows, those are good numbers. Probably the better number is that most of the "live" audiences don't match up to the actual practice for the Redskins that day, which was over 5,000 people.
 
I honestly want to know why we continuously hear stories about why wrestlers neglect to get work-Visas and licenses and the like before shows, etc.

To me, it's a built-in excuse to no-show and piss off the people who paid money to see you.

Now if you can't wrestle in certain countries because of having a record (like R-Truth and MVP), then I can see getting a free pass.
 
My thought is it's not on the wrestlers to do that necessarily. Sure, you SHOULD know about all the facts about every state you wrestle in but not if you're tied to a company. If you're a freelancer, yeah, you should know that Missouri has this, Illinois has this, etc. But for TNA and WWE, they need to clear these guys from a corporate level.

Aries and Daniels are really the only reason i watch TNA. I said it a bunch of times and i'll say it again, he is my favorite wrestler right now and only outdone for all time by SCSA because of the nostalgia.
 
For consistency in match quality, Aries is upper echelon in his era worldwide. He's that good. And his charisma & personality has always been underrated. He's the total package.

They didn't just pass on him...they passed on him FOR TOUGH ENOUGH.

WTF?!

He's short, and kind of a dick, but he'll show up every night and work his ass off. He'd be excellent in NXT. He's fantastic in TNA and everyone around him basically goes through the motions. Imagine Aries working with talent that gives a fuck. It'd be awesome.
