Meltzer commenting on the Davey Richards promo in England where he strongly hinted that he & Eddie Edwards are WWE bound:

They didn't get a letter that turned them down like everyone else at camp except the one bodybuilder guy they signed.

They are in play. It is a very unique situation that is still being played out. The most I can say is the people you would expect not to want them don't, and the people you would expect to want them do. I've continually emphasized that they neither have been turned down, nor signed to a deal. That hadn't changed as of yesterday.

That's dave's speculation, since they are emphasizing tag teams these days and there is a Triple H initiative in place to develop them. And it obviously makes sense on a number of levels, because both are small, they have a history as a team, etc.

Eddie. Better attitude, more versatile, a little taller, more easily convertible style wise. I feel like Davey will lose a lot of what he does well in that style. Davye is a better talker and better than he gets credit for, but neither are particularly good. Eddie would make a fine babyface jtts type in the Justin Gabriel mode, making guys look good and bumping all over the place.
